I'm currently 38 weeks and had my midwife appointment today. She has scheduled an urgent scan to check the position of the baby because she isn't head down yet and they may need to turn baby.
Has anyone had experience with this? This is completely new to me as my first was head down from 36 weeks (ended in a C-section through induction)
At this point I just want her out but still really want a vbac this time around.

I was in that position until week 37; she eventually turned round on her own, but at the hospital they told me about a manoeuvre they can perform to try and get the baby to turn. It sounded terrifying, but they assured me it was safe and carried out by experts. I’d recommend that you look into it and, of course, do whatever you think is best for you and your baby. There are also babies who turn round at the very last minute. I read that swimming helps quite a lot. I wish you all the luck in the world – I’m sure everything will go brilliantly 🩷

This was me with my first baby but she turned and became head down and engaged at the last minute before I had a final scan as they wanted to turn her at my next appointment at hospital but she ended being born via c section. Now with my second baby it’s been head down since 32 weeks so it’s very different compared to my first. But yeah ask as many questions as needed to feel reassured and only make decisions that feel right for you and your baby! Your body your choice love!!!!

That’s crazy, completely irrelevant I apologise but I turned 38 weeks yesterday and also had midwife yesterday, how crazy!😅hope all goes well! X
I am 39 weeks today and had my last scan this morning and it’s all good. Tonight I’ve noticed for the last hour or so no moving. I’m really scared cos usually he moves all day and night especially at night to the point I can’t sleep. I don’t know if I should wait or go if it’s only been around a hours time?
It says online not to prod and poke or have water cos it won’t mean anything I am sat in bed watching it but I really don’t know what to do!!
My tummy is just completely still. I was and have had Brixton hicks for ages and right now my tummy is rock hard but just nothing moving

Hi mummas,
I had an emergency C-section 15 weeks ago. I haven't had much rest, and as a single mum, I’ve been completely on my own since August caring for my little one and my 14-year-old beagle.
The thing is... the external scar has healed completely, but I’m not sure about the internal ones. I still have pain and discomfort in the area. If I touch the scar or my belly around it, it hurts, and the skin feels weird—kind of half-numb. I can only wear "grandma" knickers because anything else presses on the scar and hurts.
Is this going to be like this forever? Has anyone experienced the same? Should I be doing something about it?
I was really shocked that my 6-week postnatal appointment was completely useless. The doctor didn’t check me or ask about my C-section recovery at all—the only thing they asked about was contraception! It was horrible. I really need some advice please...
Also, I feel like this body isn't mine anymore. At the beginning I didn't care much, but now I feel like my abdomen will always be big and "horrible," and it's getting me down. I mean, I'm very protective of my body because it created life! But at the same time... I feel ugly 😅🤦🏻♀️

Im pregnant with my first and I just went to my 37 week appointment. My pregnancy has been a healthy one but I did share some concerns I was having. She just brushed them off. Is it odd that I haven’t had any internal exams or checks? Everybody around me is saying they should’ve checked and made sure I was okay

We have another little girly due in March and we're really struggling with finding a name. Our first little girl is called Pashey (Pay-shee) so would like something quite unique to match hers. Please help 😂
