Ransom question/ thought

So i was reading something about the kardashians. And made me think. What if while married the couple does ivf and freeze the embryos and then they divorce. What happens to them? I mean technically they can't get destroyed right?with the laws etc right now? And besides that. What if the wife decides that they want to have a 3rd baby using the embryo they had left with the husband. Does the ex husband have a say in getting to use it? And if the baby is born does he now have to pay child support as well? How would you feel if it waa the ex trying to use it too

When you do ivf you sign a contract that embryos cannot be used without both parties written consent. Also its legal to destroy the embryos or donate them either to science or other couples if you choose not to have them. You also sign a contract as to what happens to the embryos if you die, if one partner dies the custody goes to the remaining parent, if both people die, you can either sign to donate, destroy or give custody to someone in your will.

As far as child support, again both parties must consent to using the embryo. At which point there would be an agreement or contract whether or not the other parent wants to be involved and share custody or give up their parental rights and then that determines child support etc.

Any mom willing to be placement for my 4 yr old daughter

❤️ Hey mamas, I’m reaching out from the heart. My daughter is currently in DCS custody due to circumstances involving her alleged father, and I have serious concerns about abuse in her placement. Having grown up in foster care myself, I don’t have much of a support system to turn to.

I’m fighting for my baby’s safety and future, and I’m asking if anyone would consider being a safe placement for her, if approved, or standing beside us through this process. Even guidance, resources, or support would mean so much.
