Job rant?

Long story short.

Im in a situation where i need to earn maybe a minimum of £34,500 annually before tax to be able to afford life with my son. I have experience in hospitality but nothing else. No bachelors, no special qualifications, cant drive, no experience. I know it sounds stupid and obvious but i cant find a job. Not even one that has the potential to earn more over the next year. It needs to be term time if i need to go there in person leaving time for drop off/pick up for my child. Alternatively be fully remote. What on earth am i supposed to do because im getting zero help trying to fix this problem of mine even from people who's job it is to help me get into work. They keep telling me to just "get a job, dont worry about money"... how the fuck can i not worry about money? Life is money in this economy.

I’m a hospitality manager and earn almost double that but I have to work unsociable hours (which could work great for you if you have someone who can help with childcare of an evening?).

You’re unlikely to be able to work such restricted times/ hours and earn that sort of money. What you’re looking for is essentially part time and I don’t know of any jobs term time only unless in a school. Remote jobs won’t allow you to look after your child while working.

Could you use wrap around childcare to work extended hours? How old is your child?
