I’m just realizing I haven’t bought any toys or thought of getting any. Do 0-3 month old need toys? If so, what are some of the recommended kind of toys

Honestly, just find a bunch of safe items that have sensory capabilities that they can touch and smell etc
Things like sponges, towels etc
Babies at this stage don't really need toys and don't have the capacity to know what play is yet, but giving them a sensory basket really helps them improve grasp and get a good sense of their sense of smell, sight, touch etc

I’ve bought some books for reading to my little one, mostly soft ones that they will be able to feel as well or that make sounds.
I’ve also bought some of the black and white sensory flash cards that I’ve seen loads on Instagram etc which seem to be good for when their vision is still more limited!
Keen to see what others say ☺️

We’ve got the visual cards for brain development, sensory items and tummy time things

As a fresh newborn they don't need anything tbh. But black and white books / cards for a few weeks in, and probably a bouncer you can attach toys to?

I'd say mostly 6+ months need toys

My lo (11 weeks) has a few toys and interacts with all of them. Black and white book, crinckle book, teething toys (matchstick monkey which he loves and holds pretty much every wake window), glow sticks, camping light that turns into a sting light that has multiple flashing settings and bell socks.
We don’t use them for every wake window, some we practice rolling on a blanket on the floor, we go out in the bassinet in the woods and look at the light through the trees etc, play gym and bounce seat when I really just need 30 minute me time.
Hi.
Stupid question as my brain isn’t braining.
My baby is now officially 6m old (happy half birthday!) and I’m wondering what the next step is for using a seat for her bath? She currently has the picture attached and she’s almost grown out of it.
She can’t sit unaided yet, is it the seat I get for her?

Hello!
I am struggling with my 20 months old. She’s amazing but when it’s time to go to sleep she just won’t sleep. Napping is almost impossible and bedtime is eternal. It takes me at least an hour to put her to sleep. If I am not literally next to her, she will cry and won’t stop until I come back (she can cry for 30 mins no problem and never get tired). Also she won’t allow my husband to put her to sleep.
I know this is my fault because I didn’t sleep training her correctly when I was supposed to but I keep trying everything and nothing works. Does anyone have any advice on how to teach her to fall asleep?
Thank you for your time!

So I just need to ask os Huckleberry worth paying for, I need help with my daughter, she has hit the four months stage and last night sent me to the edge, she took over an hour to get her to sleep, I had her asleep around six ISH on me went to transfer after half an hour, and she woke up, checked the app and she needed milk then she went back to sleep around eight ish on me, managed to transfer her to her cot till 10 ISH she had another bottle and went straight back to sleep afterwards but then started fussing around two ISH in the cot eyes closed but whining, I put the dummy in and she went back to sleep and she did this again, still with her eyes closed about half an hour after, then up for four am, had some milk and a nappy change back down near five till eight in the morning, I have been tracking it on huckleberry and wondered if it was worth paying for the premium to get more advice on how to get her to sleep through like she used to, I am going to do a bathing routine three times a week as they not to bathe a baby too much and then I am trying to have wind down times between half six and seven, I am knackered and trying anything but does anyone else's child fuss during the night? Mine does I said before but she doesn't open her eyes or anything so I pop the dummy in to sooth her and try and let her fall back to sleep herself, I watch to see if her eyes open at all. Am I doing this right because I am confused and tired.

We made its 10 weeks exclusively breast feeding just to find out my baby has cmpa and possibly a soy sensitivity and the dietary restrictions are too much. I also don’t mind formula feeding she’s been doing well with it. We started all this in last 3 days. Any advice?
