At a lost of words
So ladies i have a question no judgement please because i am very not understanding this right now.
So i am 15wks 5days i saw my ob last week and did a pap for this year since i am over due for one, i tested positive for chlamydia š but what i am not understanding here is so on August 10 i went somewhere to do the pregnancy confirmation for insurance. And they tested my pee as well for all the sti and that test came back negative. But today i got a call from my OB saying i tested positive for it. I havenāt slept with anyone in years and typically would wear protection even if i did have a different partner. My current partner Iāve been with for a while(since our first born)6-7yrs, but now he needs to go get tested- he said he had it in the past years ago before we ever met and he treated it etc. well what i donāt get is how do i suddenly go from negative to positive on something. Yes obviously it means someoneās lying, but i am just shocked because Iāve gone my entire life without ever getting anything especially now that i am pregnant with our second child.

so sorry girl the devastation you must be feeling right now. everything will be okay. it is easily treatable thatās great. a strong conversation needs to be had but the safety of you and your baby is most important and this can be treated!
That sucks but I have also been there. Any tests, at-home or lab run have a testing window. So when you tested earlier it could have been too early for the test to detect, or maybe it hadn't developed yet? Hopefully it's a false positive?
Im sorry your going thru this mama get him tested asap and I would also get re-tested as well to make sure it wasnāt a serious false positive

I have always gotten a positive on 6dpo so we'll see!

Positive test but super early
I got a positive today on hcg and clear blue. After an early miscarriage in August I was worried it would take us a while but we got lucky this month ā¤ļø super nervous as so early but so excited.

ICP
Iāve recently been diagnosed with ICP and my bile acid levels were 196..due to it being severe Iām being induced in 2 weeks when Iām 35 weeks..not sure what to expect. Did anyone else go through this? Iāve also got the choice to have steroids, whatās opinions on this?
