Progesterone in luteal phase after ovulation- did it help you stay pregnant?

After recurrent losses my fertility doctor has prescribed vaginal progesterone pessaries to be administered morning and night three days after ovulation. Has any of you tried this and do you think it helped you sustain a pregnancy long enough to get a positive test? Did you start taking it 3 days after ovulation as well or did you wait for a BBT spike, or was it some other timeline? Any insights or advice would be much appreciated since I am desperate for this to work. Thank you

No personal experience but my friend was prescribed this and it did help her stay pregnant. She used it from 3 DPO until 12 weeks. I asked about this as have had a few chemicals but was told there was nothing to indicate I needed progesterone support (though I never actually had a test).

Do you have a short luteal phase? This is what progesterone can really help with I believe.

I got it after my 3rd miscarriage. I will say that despite having a short luteal phase I never got the impression my pregnancies were ending because of progesterone dropping prematurely. If anything they had all been missed miscarriages at that point which suggested progesterone was going strong long after the babies stopped developing. So take my story with a grain of salt because a LOT of women credit progesterone for their rainbow babies. At first I started by taking it from 3dpo but then I wasn’t getting pregnant as often and when I did it was a chemical so then I started waiting till I got a positive test but still had another chemical, current pregnancy I also just started from a positive test. This time I am also taking daily low dose aspirin and Pepcid and Claritin as a bit of a kitchen sink protocol because we still have no answers as to why I keep miscarrying. I’ve finally made it past all my other losses and saw a heartbeat at 8 weeks, currently almost 12 weeks (i hope 🤞)

When are we unboxing everything?

Has anyone started to unbox things and put them together?

Pram/Car Seat/ Bottles etc

If not when are you planning to? I’m due Christmas Day and still working full time. I’m worried I’m going to be so busy in a few weeks time but also don’t want anything gathering dust. I’m also very type A so itching to get it all done and ticked off!

At a lost of words

So ladies i have a question no judgement please because i am very not understanding this right now.

So i am 15wks 5days i saw my ob last week and did a pap for this year since i am over due for one, i tested positive for chlamydia 🙃 but what i am not understanding here is so on August 10 i went somewhere to do the pregnancy confirmation for insurance. And they tested my pee as well for all the sti and that test came back negative. But today i got a call from my OB saying i tested positive for it. I haven’t slept with anyone in years and typically would wear protection even if i did have a different partner. My current partner I’ve been with for a while(since our first born)6-7yrs, but now he needs to go get tested- he said he had it in the past years ago before we ever met and he treated it etc. well what i don’t get is how do i suddenly go from negative to positive on something. Yes obviously it means someone’s lying, but i am just shocked because I’ve gone my entire life without ever getting anything especially now that i am pregnant with our second child.

See anything?

I've been pregnant 4 times before and by the way my belly feels I might be pregnant.
I think I might be 5 dpo
I have always gotten a positive on 6dpo so we'll see!

Positive test but super early

I got a positive today on hcg and clear blue. After an early miscarriage in August I was worried it would take us a while but we got lucky this month ❤️ super nervous as so early but so excited.
