Diwali Traditions

For those who celebrate Diwali, what were your favourite traditions growing up? I’d love to start some special Diwali traditions with our little one. What did you enjoy most as a child, and what traditions have you carried on with your own families?

Fireworks and baking together 🙂

Making rangoli together and putting lit diyas all around the house 😍✨

Going to the gurdwara and seeing the fireworks, then going home and helping mum with lighting candles or divas around the house. We would all get to eat loads of food together which we loved as we grew up, and We would then get into bed and mum&dad would read us a book or tell us stories about Diwali.
As it’s my first Diwali as a mum this year I’m going to stay at my parents house and we are going to do the same things with my little one 🩵

so i will be 4 months pp this friday and since i gave birth my appetite has been, well, non existent. as well as my ability to even drink anything. before pregnancy i could probably drink 8 water bottles in a day now it seems like i could go all day with just having a one sip of anything and not finishing it. i can’t catch up on sleep, even when i do it’s not enough or im still sleepy. i don’t have any energy to do anything.. not even get up out of bed. any thoughts?

Anatomy Scan (20 weeks)

Has anyone had their 20 week anatomy scan yet? We will be having ours this Saturday and would love to hear from you guys any advice, tips, etc..
