Anatomy Scan (20 weeks)

Has anyone had their 20 week anatomy scan yet? We will be having ours this Saturday and would love to hear from you guys any advice, tips, etc..

I have mine on the 26th. Definitely would love to advice as well!

Just had mine! It was great! Be prepared for it to take a while and you might have to move around a bit for them to get all the angles they need.

My husband and I did last week

I had mine today but I’m 18w4d. It’s just the way the schedule worked out. This is my fourth baby, so my advice… you DONT KNOW the type of sonographer you’re getting. Some are chatty and bubbly, some are stoic and focused. Don’t try to interpret any of it. Those are just personality differences. Relax and enjoy the screen as best as you can. 🙂

I have that already last week because I have a trip tomorrow, just drink water 30 minutes before the appointment but slowly , I drank too much water earlier and they made me wait an extra 30 minutes... I almost peed in the waiting room. But it was beautiful, I saw everything of my baby.

I had mine a week ago at 20wks and 1 day. My sonographer was very chatty and quick at what she does but also very proficient. It was definitely an enjoyable time and baby was doing great

I just had mine ( second pregnancy back to back) just make sure you have a full bladder and if you want drink something a little sugary if you want to see baby bouncing around haha. My ultra sound tech actually was very verbal so she explained everything she was doing and what we were looking at and what baby should be at growth wise. You can ask questions about if growth is on track, How is baby’s heartbeat, you can ask about whether you have an interior or exterior placenta if you’re not feeling baby so often.

I had mine at 18w 3d and it took about 45 minutes of wand on belly, plus some position changes to try to get another angle on baby. It felt like a super long and slightly uncomfortable appointment, but not too bad. We didn’t get all that we needed so they asked me to come back in a couple weeks (21w 2d).

I do mine on Friday. I will keep you updated on how things go. I can’t wait to see baby boy it feels like forever, even though I just had an ultrasound last week.

How long after a c section can you have sex

Overdue and wanting to avoid induction

I’m 41+1 today and still only 1cm dilated, I’ve tried everything to get this baby out of here. I have an induction booked for 41+5 but would rather go into spontaneous labour! Does anyone have any similar stories of not needing the induction at around the same time or anything that worked for them?

postpartum

so i will be 4 months pp this friday and since i gave birth my appetite has been, well, non existent. as well as my ability to even drink anything. before pregnancy i could probably drink 8 water bottles in a day now it seems like i could go all day with just having a one sip of anything and not finishing it. i can’t catch up on sleep, even when i do it’s not enough or im still sleepy. i don’t have any energy to do anything.. not even get up out of bed. any thoughts?

How on earth do I find the nub?!

I had my 13 week scan last week and have a lovely picture however I have no idea where the nub is! Could anyone kindly guide me? Thank you!

31 weeks with my 3rd and honestly do not know how I’m going to last 9 more weeks, I feel a lot further than I am. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m 30 and older than prev pregnancies or because I have a 5 and 3 year old whilst pregnant this time but feel as thought I’ll have this baby sooner than expected 😫
