About to get induced! How long did yours take?

Awww good luck! Didn't work for me. Was in hospital 6 days and they tried 3 times with the pessary and gel. They asked if i wanted to try again or have an elective section. Opted for the section as I was fed up x

Hi! What is the reason for being induced? Is it medically indicated?

I was induced 6pm the night before gave birth 7:43 the next morning. I did sleep through most of it because i got the injection (can’t remember what it’s called best thing I ever got) I only started to feel the contractions around 6/6:30

I got induced at 39 weeks pregnant and all I kept hearing about horror stories but they started my induction at about 9:30 at night and at one in the morning my baby came. I also don’t think it was more painful than just going into labour naturally. Good luck x

I was induced 5 days past my due date, they broke my waters at 01:00 as I was already 3cm dilated then they gave me hormone drip, I then had c section at 14:57 same day x
