Yes! Unavoidable because I have a book obsessed toddler, so if I’m sat down with baby, he’s bringing piles of books. He will bring longer picture books for himself and then some other peekaboo books and he’ll pull all the flaps and describe what’s going on to her. It’s very cute.
But he’s so obsessed with books likely because I started reading with him when he was tiny, too.
When he’s at nursery, I will read black and white books specifically with her and just have them to hand with her things when I get chance. But largely dictated by the toddler!

11 weeks baby I started reading this week some French books. But I talk a lot during the day so I didn’t feel like it was absolutely necessary as I narrate everything all day

I started this week with my nearly 11 week old after her morning feed in the nursery and she has been looking at all the pictures! Never found time in our routine before until I moved our morning feed into the nursery about 8am and then I do it as part of her playing to hope she goes back off to sleep soon after 🤣 x
I had my son a little over two weeks ago and he is the best thing to ever happen to me but this has also been the hardest time of my life. Just writing to connect as I have no mom friends and feel quite isolated. Love to all your moms and babies!

Hello. Asking for some kind and friendly and honest advice. I had my first baby 2 years ago (aged 38), without going into too much detail it wasn’t easy but wasn’t absolutely horrific but enough to scare me to go through it again. With that in mind and now being 40, I’m worried about having a second baby despite really wanting one! I’m also fit and healthy (I think) but not in the best physical shape as I’ve struggled to lose the weight from first time around and worried this is also a risk. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have any advice at all?

I broke my pelvis at 14 weeks pregnant, developed PGP/SPD since, have gestational diabetes, too much fluid around baby, baby is measuing large and placenta previa. My first pregnancy was super uncomplicated minus developing hypertension at the end and this one I just feel like my body is trying to have every high risk factor out there. I’m super thankful baby is ok, but my body is suffering 😩 I’m 33 weeks and just ready not be pregnant anymore
