This is my second baby - my first is 17 months and so a complete whirlwind at the moment. He’s still a terrible sleeper and can be a handful but 90% lovely 😅
With my first we tried for years and from the moment we found out we were giddy with excitement. With the second we fell pregnant first try and I’m not feeling as excited… I’m 17 weeks.
I don’t know if it’s because I don’t have time to be excited as such as all my thoughts are with the toddler, or if it’s because I’m exhausted from the lack of sleep, or if the excitement will simply come especially when I start to get a bump etc. If I look to the future and think about the bond my children will hopefully have and the family trips etc then I’m excited, but I’m just not feeling excited right now to have a newborn added to the already exhausted state (we thought we would have to try for years again to conceive - not get lucky first time, hence why we started trying now)
Anybody else feel like this if on their second or more pregnancy?!

I was talking about this the other day with a work colleague and I was saying with my first I was taking weekly bump photos, buying things, getting all giddy about it. Don't get me wrong im over the moon to be expecting again and I am excited but the enthusiasm isn't the same if that makes sense. Think ive taken 1 or 2 bump photos. I think you just don't have the time with the subsequent to actually think about getting excited. My colleague was saying its totally normal and majority of people feel that way.
It might change tomorrow once we have had our gender scan🩷🩵
Hi mamas! 💕 I had my 1-hour glucose test today, and my result came back over 200 😭 I’m honestly a little worried. Has anyone else had a result this high? Were you diagnosed with gestational diabetes right away, or did your doctor have you do the 3-hour test? I’d love to hear your experiences! ❤️

I'm currently omw to L&D at the hospital due to hypertension. It's been a steady 150/100 and if I do anything it climbs. I'm so scared because my BP has never been that high, it's actually typically lower end. I don't have any other symptoms. Can someone tell me their experience and what the treatment was?

I’m pregnant with my second baby and it’s insane how much of a bump I already have compared to my first pregnancy. Will be 13 weeks tomorrow and I’m curious if anyone else has had the same?

I thought the stomach issues were over after the first trimester but now going into the 3rd I’m miserable every time I eat. Upset stomach, gas, burping. Trying tums and anti-acids but still miserable- any suggestions that worked for you guys? I dont even want to eat anymore 😤
