I thought I wouldn’t get irritated but what’s irritating is when my baby cries due to hunger but refuses to eat. Perhaps he’s having gas or something which I have trouble telling if it’s trapped farts or acid reflux which he does have but ugh. Also I guess it’s a very sensitive time right now (4 months) and if you don’t get something right then and there he will cry for 30 minutes which I understand and am aware of purple crying. I’m also trying to understand how to have boundaries with my baby. Like he’s a baby and needs me but I’m trying to make sure I’m getting things right. Kids can be complex but I love my baby!

If he's fussy because of reflux and your breast feeding you need to change your diet... Is it's gas, gripe water helps. I swear by gripe water because I gave it to my baby one time and it reduced his bloat! Not sure about what you mean with boundaries as he won't understand boundaries at this point so not sure having them would be beneficial.

Babies don’t need boundaries until 18m at this age they need unwavering love and support. Try gripe water and if you bottle feeding make sure you are giving baby the bottle correctly with no air going in.
If you are a SAHM, do you send your 2-3 year old to preschool? I’m genuinely confused because people keep asking me why my not even 3 year old isn’t in preschool yet. While I was working she was in “early preschool” which was literally just daycare. I also keep seeing social media posts of 2 and 3 year olds going to “preschool.” I am a SAHM now, why would I willingly send my 2 year old to daycare and pay money for that, and lose the precious time we have together before she starts school. She has other opportunities to socialize and she is incredibly smart! Maybe societal expectations are changing but my siblings and I didn’t start preschool until 4 and it was only a half day (and free through our public school!) Isn’t it best for our babies to be home with us if possible?
Someone tell me I’m not crazy?! 🙈

As a stay at home mom I understand that my job is mainly house chores and childcare when he’s working but I asked him to help with giving our son a bath and he started complaining about how that’s my job and how I’m so lucky to be a stay at home mom and I need to stop complaining. I feel terribly guilty and bad when he brings that up. Of course I’m extremely lucky and blessed to be a stay at home mom but that doesn’t mean that some days or weeks are just hard. I feel weak for asking for help and I don’t think I should feel like that. These are his kids too and I shouldn’t have to ask him to just be a parent. Idk am I in the wrong?
I even told him he doesn’t need to do anything at home like laundry, cooking, cleaning because I understand that’s my duty at home. Maybe I’m the one who’s wrong idk.
Then when I try to talk to him about me struggling he’ll tell me just wait until you start working then you’ll regret ever complaining. But if I work I’ll still be coming home after a long work day to still cook, clean, and take care of the kids.

My daughter turned 2 this month and will stay with her childminder until she is 4. When should i start looking into primary schools/applying for her place? Tia

I’ve come to the decision that I really am not a patient person 😂 I’m feeling a bit stuck at the moment. My boy is 6 months old, has had really bad reflux from the beginning, is currently not interested in food, is breastfed and won’t take a bottle, cosleeps because the crib is a big no no. The list could go on! He is very hard work and I know babies aren’t easy but this is another level and feel like I definitely have it harder than others especially when you see people say their baby sleeps great and all the other things

my baby daddy went mad at me as he found out i was ‘using his child maintenance’ to buy nappies from Aldi/Lidl instead of buying Pampers. Valid or is he being as ridiculous as I feel like he is? 😂

Anyone else struggling with feeding their little one food? Ever since he was 6 month old, feeding is so difficult, he’s now 8 and a half and every meal time he’s moaning, fussy, crying, refusing.
