Hey, so I’m trying everything I can to up my supply. I’ve been power pumping I add extra pumps I pump a little bit extra longer. I feel like I’ve tried everything I can and it feels like my body is just saying no we’re making this amount of ounces and that’s it. Nothing else is going to work and I feel like I’m losing my mind because I noticed my baby is starting to eat more and I’m wondering if I should still stress about this because she might be starting solid soon purées after we go to her doctors appointment which is soon we’ll see about that but like I’m just wondering is there anything else also I’ve tried the snacks and eating more and drinking but I don’t think like I’m at a loss help me please lol

If you see the specialist infant feeding team, there are medications that can sometimes help increase your supply, but usually best advice is just keep putting baby to the breast and your body should respond to the amount your baby needs. Also baby can usually get more out that a pump does, not every woman responds to pumps xxx

A few things I’ve heard have worked for people. You can try these if you haven’t: liquid gold supplements, body armor electrolyte, liquid IV electrolyte, overnight oats with sesame, chia seeds, flax seeds. A concoction of cumin seeds, carrom seeds and fennel seeds. Boil these in water, strain and drink.

The lactation cookies have helped me, or you can buy brewers yeast and incorporate in something
I’m a FTM looking for some advice please.
I’ve just started putting my 9 week old in her sleeping bag at night the temperature when we go to bed is around 20/21 degrees I have been putting her in a 1 tog sleeping bag with her sleepsuit per the guide on the sleep bag. The temperature is dropping to about 16/17 degrees throughout the night making it colder.
Would you continue to put her in the 1 tog or would you put her in a warmer tog when she’s going to bed knowing the temperature is going to drop? I am worried about overheating her. TIA xx

I breastfed for 18 months and it was more because I knew it was good for baby and then when we got into it, it was for convenience and ease. But I also felt that it took things away like baby being able to spend long periods of time with family (he wouldn’t take a bottle), and also I had a lack of freedom lol.
I’d do it again and don’t regret it but I never got the “I love breastfeeding, I love the closeness, it’s magical” kinda feeling that I read people talking about.

Help?!!!! My 18 month old from the day he was born has been absolute hell past 4pm. No matter how much sleep he has he whinges and cries at EVERY thing, all evening. My partner is really stressed out with it, as we thought by now he might have grown out of it. He’s sleeps 7:30pm- 6am, and 11:30-1:30 day nap. Eats WELL, that is what he actually mostly whinges at now… Always screaming at the kitchen cupboards. I don’t know what to do😩 is this happening to anyone else

When did you start using tampons after birth?
I’m 6 weeks post c-section today and started my first period. I absoloutely hate pads with a passion I’m so fed up of them I just want to start using tampons again but information online is misleading.

Did anyone find that when they got their period their milk supply got less? Think my first period is starting and noticed I'm finding I'm pumping less and less milk at the moment and wonder if they're connected.
