There's the obvious bodily fluids but if you've got a waterproof sheet down and some old towels it's just an easy fold it all up and the midwife takes it away. 😉

Buy cheap shower curtains and put them on the floor and any soft furnishings, covered with old towels/blankets and get some incontinence pads for where you'll lie on the sofa/bed. The midwives will then do most of the clean up before they leave x

I got super kind waterproof sheets to cover the sofa with!
I had a pool birth and then sat on sofa with towels and the midwives covered sofa with my waterproof sheets, and that's where they cleaned/stitched me up 😌 was all pretty clean and then they popped sheets in wash for me!

We had a private gender scan done at 14 weeks. We got told the baby is a boy! But the private’s look very big for a 14 week old scan 🫣😅 compared to my youngest boys scan and his was at 16 weeks. Does this look like an umbilical cord shot or deffo a boy! 🥲🫣😳

Hi ladies, I had my c section 5 weeks ago. What's everyone's wound healing process been like? I've still got the occasional sharp pains and pulling sensations when I move certain ways. Is this normal?

I don’t suppose anyone else has had a c-section swiftly followed by appendix/gall bladder removal & can give a realistic idea of how long it’ll take to feel more normal again?
I’m 7w post c section & had both the above removed this week and currently feel like I’ve taken 10 steps back from a recovery point of view so would love to hear a real life experience!
