Two weeks period after c section?

Hi 👋 I had my plan c section on the 09.10 and yesterday started heavily bleeding then it stopped and today started again , went to see gp they think it might be early period or infection . Anyone had that ? Many thanks in advance xx

I had an emergency C-section on 10.10 and yesterday and today have noticed bleeding where I wasn’t having any really, I was thinking period as it looks dark but I’m breastfeeding so a little confused as with my first I don’t think I had a period until about 6 months postpartum

Hey, I also had planned section on 09/10 and noticed today I am bleeding more when I wasn’t bleeding almost at all before. Also wondered if it’s period but I am breastfeeding so not sure what it is..

Sometimes bleeding comes back when you've started doing too much. Try take it easier tomorrow and you might find it disappears again

C section - calm me down

I most likely have to have a c section in a few weeks and I have never felt so nervous in all my life. I struggle sleeping at night and it's all I think about during the day as I am a very anxious person.

I haven't been able to speak to a consultant yet. I wondered if anyone has any words of advice or even words of advice from a consultant they spoke to?

Is there a polite way for me to refuse any further student midwifery involvement in my care?

I’m 37 weeks and every single student midwifery I have had , has struggled to find my babies heart beat, added quite a lot of stress by having to constantly leave the room to ask the senior midwives questions or to find baby, even student doctors can’t find baby’s heartbeat.

I’m a high risk pregnancy, need a delivery suite labour and I appreciate they have to learn / tick off so many births etc but I’m just a bit ansy and fed up now , I don’t want the unnecessary stress.

How can I politely decline the student midwifes seeing me in my next midwife appt in the community and for them not to be involved in my birth?

Blood test results

Hi ladies,

So I’m confused.. been to triage yesterday as had some pains, had my urine dipped and it was clear but then when I had my bloods done my results come back and it shows I’ve got 14 crp which means either inflammation or an infection? Has anyone else had this before?? I’m just abit confused.

5 month old woes

Has anyone else just lost it and had a bit of a yell at baby when they've been screaming non stop? Feel really bad after having a go but my LO was just non stop behind for no reason at all. So draining, I am finding 5 months harder than any other month so far.

Anyone starting to feel fed up?

I am in need of a break from this 24/7 mum role. The screaming, crying, constant picking up, constantttt cleaning, washing up, cooking, picking up mess, to-do lists, everyday supermarket runs, admin, energy into trying to get baby to sleep, trying to get him to eat , waste of food, breast feeding, sterilising, mum rage, mental load feel like I just a huge bloody break from all of it !
