C section - calm me down

I most likely have to have a c section in a few weeks and I have never felt so nervous in all my life. I struggle sleeping at night and it's all I think about during the day as I am a very anxious person.

I haven't been able to speak to a consultant yet. I wondered if anyone has any words of advice or even words of advice from a consultant they spoke to?

hey lovely, i’m a mum of 2 and had an elective c-section with both! it’s normal to worry!!

i had really bad anxiety leading up to both of them, to the point i couldn’t sleep, worried about if things went wrong etc, ultimately all my midwife could do was reassure me that things will be fine and that they do csections all day everyday

for me they were both very relaxed, the spinal block was horrible but once it’s done, nothing hurts there’s just pressure, you feel them moving things around in your tummy which can be uncomfortable but once baby’s out you won’t care what they’re doing, you’ll just be focussed on baby.

you stay numb for quite a while, i experienced shaking after which is quite normal.

with my first baby, walking around after was painful but with my second, it felt like i hadn’t even had a c-section, i just felt like normal!

every pregnancy will be different the same as every c-section will be.

drop me a message if you want any support or just to talk about it xx

5 Weeks Pregnant: Is Dull Lower Abdominal Aching Normal?

Hi ladies! ❤️

I’m currently 5 weeks and a few days pregnant, and my first ultrasound isn’t scheduled until November 17, when I’ll be around 9 weeks.

Lately, I’ve been experiencing a dull ache in the middle and sometimes on the sides of my lower abdomen, almost like mild period cramps. I’m just wondering if anyone else experienced something similar this early in pregnancy.

Is this a common symptom? And did anyone else have to wait until 9 weeks for their first scan? I’m worried

Would love to hear your experiences! 💕

Pushing?

Ladies, I’ve been experiencing some downward pelvic heaviness, especially after sitting for a little while. I gently pushed with my muscles fewer than 10 times, but my belly didn’t tighten. I did this to see if i could feel where the heaviness stemmed from. The heaviness has mostly gone away, and baby girl is moving normally. I’m worried about whether the pushing could have harmed her or triggered labor.
