My son is walking he took his first real steps just before turning 10 months. I wouldn't worry too much about it some kids walk a little earlier or later than others.

My daughter started walking at 9 months and my son 8 months. But my niece didn’t till almost a year and a half. It’s totally normal if yours isn’t.

My son took his 1st steps a month after he turned 1. My baby girl pulls up to stand and is now standing for two seconds on her own before plopping down on her butt. I'm hopeful that her 1st steps will happen soon 🤞🏻
On another note, I've heard from pediatricians that the longer babies crawl before walking the better it is for their neurological development and coordination.

My girl tries to only gets 3-4 steps then sits back down

Mine just took his first steps he’s almost one
There’s no rush
Hi, I had a c section 9 weeks ago. I was sterilized at the same time. I was discharged with a catheter because I couldn’t wee after the set time it was removed Two weeks later but I still have no sensation to go for a wee. Doctor referred me to the hospital to get checked over just wondering if anyone else suffered with this. And what the outcome was

Anyone want to share some cute or silly pics you've gotten of your July babies? I don't want to post my littles on other social media so posting here to share ☺️ this is a pic my wife got when she surprised the heck out of him, and I giggle every time I see it. Let's see some of yours!

Is anyone else seriously considering having an elective c-section in an otherwise uncomplicated pregnancy? Whenever I talk to friends/family or my OB, I’m always met with slight prejudice on the fact that I’m considering this. It seems like a universal understanding that vaginal births are always better. However, I’m really struggling to understand why. When I think about affects on the mother, I know that C-sections are major abdominal surgeries and recovery time is longer, however the recovery is only temporary. With a C-section you significantly decrease your risk in long-term pelvic floor dysfunction, and completely avoid the inevitability of tearing in any degree, stretching, and any long-term adverse side effects that come with that. In weighing if I’d rather have long term scar tissue in my abdomen or…elsewhere, the choice seems obvious. Secondly, there is no question that c-sections are safer for your baby. And for the mother, although going through major surgery, the procedure is completed in 60 minutes or less in a fixed amount of time in a highly controlled environment. No unknown hours of labor, and god forbid, if something did go wrong, you’re already in the environment to address anything. I’m frustrated that I consistently need to defend myself when the choice seems rather obvious. Am I missing something? Is anyone else experiencing the same push back or same thought process?
