Sleeping through

Any tips and advice. Silly as I know every baby is different, but my LO hasn’t slept through the night once. The longest he’s done is 6 hours and only a handful of times. He is still waking up every 2-3 hours. The broken sleep is hard 😣
His routine is: bath, bf or bf milk bottle or formula. He goes down at about 8pm. But varies 7,30-8.30.

Apparently 6 hours count as sleeping through the night, congratulations! 🥳

On a serious note, every baby is different and my older son hadn’t slept through the night until he was 13 months. Try not to compare.

I honestly think it’s baby dependent unfortunately. Mine is still waking up every 2 hours! His 3 year old brother wakes up at 3/4am for the day too so it’s hell out here at the moment 🫩

My baby still wakes 3 hourly it is tiring. Gone from breast to bottle and find it even harder the while getting up and making a bottle not just laying feeding

My little one sleeps through generally - around 8pm until approx 5:30-6:30 usually. Saying that though, my first didn't sleep through until she was around 8 months and with her it was a very clear 3 wakes, then 2, then 1 and then none. I really think it's down to the baby and their temperament. My second had less feeding and weight issues than my first, so I'm not sure if being a bit chunkier just meant he could go longer without feeding..my second also just naturally has busier days than my first did, because my first is now 4 and is around more often than not 😅 I'm sorry I'm not a huge amount of help..the only things I did differently this time was trying to get out and about as much as possible during the day to fix their circadian rhythm initially, when they were very small, and the better feeding/weight gain (which was just dependent on the baby themselves)

I genuinely think it depends on the baby and it took me sooo long to accept that it wasn’t anything I was or wasn’t doing or anything I could change, it was just my baby! My two girls are soooo different and I haven’t done anything differently with them.

I totally get that the broken sleep is exhausting but just know it isn’t anything you are or aren’t doing.

My eldest fed every 1.5-2 hours until she was about 8 months old. My son is sleeping a lot better with 5-6 hour chunks, it’ll come don’t worry! I don’t think there is anything we can do to help? It’s their temperament I believe

Hospital bag

Hey ladies. Planning to bottle feed my bubba. Do hospitals have sterilising equipment or should I pack multiple bottles already sterilised? Thank you 🩵

Wont sleep

Why the fuck is my 6month old deciding to wakeup 3hours after put the bed, clearly tired, wanting to sleep but not sleeping???? Doing raspberries, fidgeting, pinching etc

He has had enough naps, this isnt a nap, this is bedtime. He has already gone through sleep regression and this isnt it

I’ll rock him to sleep and he will put his head down but kicking his legs around or making sounds of all sorts. What is this????? What the fuck am i supposed to do?

How do you respond to “mom”?

My sweet 16 month old calls me mom affectionally and it’s the sweetest thing. His voice is so cute and I feel dumb answering “yes that’s me” “yep I’m your mom” lol help! It’s his favorite word and says it like 3x every other word (if that even makes sense, I don’t know how to write that). If I don’t respond then we lose a lot of our “conversations” but my lameness causes me to overthink it. Obv he doesn’t care, I just spiral lol. Maybe easy phrases, or a song about moms? I do other fun responses when I have enough focus (like taking the attention bid: tossing him in the air, hugs kisses, bringing him into what I’m doing. Also saying everyone’s names around us too etc) but my problem is go to words to say that aren’t the first two lol. For when I’m busy or focused on other stuff etc. TIA 🙏🏼

Temperature 12 month old

My little one has not been 100% for about 2 weeks she’s had one and off temperature one day she’s fine the next she’s got a mild temp but she’s been so snotty and chesty for about 2 weeks.
Today she’s been extra clingy she still plays with her toys but then she’s like had enough and wants to just be held she’s also still eating and drinking fine. This morning she had a temp of 38 something then she perked up after Calpol and was ok then tonight she had a bath and then she was crying in the bath so I got her out and she was really shivering so got her dressed and cuddles temp was 39.2 gave Calpol at 6:45 rang 111 they told me to go to pharmacy (complete waste of time) when I got back her temp was 39.6 left her a bit to sleep then check was 39.1 then at 10:45 temp was 39.3 gave her nurofen this time she’s been asleep this whole time but keeps moving and waking up crying then going back to sleep. Her breathings fine not super fast not sucking it’s just her temp. If it doesn’t go down but she sleeps shall I just leave her?
I don’t want to go to sleep myself
