Temperature 12 month old

My little one has not been 100% for about 2 weeks she’s had one and off temperature one day she’s fine the next she’s got a mild temp but she’s been so snotty and chesty for about 2 weeks.
Today she’s been extra clingy she still plays with her toys but then she’s like had enough and wants to just be held she’s also still eating and drinking fine. This morning she had a temp of 38 something then she perked up after Calpol and was ok then tonight she had a bath and then she was crying in the bath so I got her out and she was really shivering so got her dressed and cuddles temp was 39.2 gave Calpol at 6:45 rang 111 they told me to go to pharmacy (complete waste of time) when I got back her temp was 39.6 left her a bit to sleep then check was 39.1 then at 10:45 temp was 39.3 gave her nurofen this time she’s been asleep this whole time but keeps moving and waking up crying then going back to sleep. Her breathings fine not super fast not sucking it’s just her temp. If it doesn’t go down but she sleeps shall I just leave her?
I don’t want to go to sleep myself

I think it would be best to see a doctor as anything above 38 is not good 💔 I hope she feels better soon x

When temperature keeps going nd coming it means there is some infection somewhere so pls take her to a nd e if tomorrow it still like that

When my daughter was 2 she had high temperature for 10 good days nd was on nd off . At that point i was thinking of all the negative things until we headed to the a nd e nd the nurse listened to me then immediately started treating her

We stayed in the hospital for 3 days or 4 days cant remember the exact days. So pls take her to hospital. Sometimes gps re limited to know what is going on in their little bodies unless u take them to the hospital for ct scans

I would suggest getting her seen to as soon as possible and would try 111 again and let them know you have been ti pharmacist already and doing all the suggested things but symptoms are worsening if they still do not listen I would say go to A and E to be safe.

Put it in the tub with warm water for 30 minutes and pour plenty of water from the head, it helps a lot with high fever

Nurofen has brought it down to 38.1 in just over a hour so that’s good will set a alarm check her in a few hours if it continues I’ll ring 111 in the morning

Have pampers changed

I had a nappy raffle at my baby shower and have loads of nappy’s but the ones on the left are what I’ve found best and I am running low on them. They are elastic around the front and back unlike the ones on the left I’ve opened 3 more packs of pampers and they are all like the ones on the right. Have they changed or are they a specific style/name

Hospital bag

Hey ladies. Planning to bottle feed my bubba. Do hospitals have sterilising equipment or should I pack multiple bottles already sterilised? Thank you 🩵

Trouble breastfeeding

I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding my little girl who’s now 4 and a half months old. During that time I’ve had mastitis twice. I’ve been prescribed antibiotics and strong painkillers. Every week there’s always a new lump in either one breast or both which causes me so much discomfort and pain. The area is sore, tender and very uncountable so breastfeeding can hurt. It also hurts to hold her close to my chest because of the lump. The other day I also had a blocked milk duct as there was a white dot on my nipple. I’ve seen the doctors and taken medicines but seems like there’s always a new lump appearing. The doctor mentioned to do hot and cold compresses as well which tbh doesn’t seem to help. I’m feeling quite down about it all and wonder if switching her to formula would be better for her and myself. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? I would appreciate any advice or tips. Thank you!

Diapers

I have a 20m old and a 2 month old. Both boys. My 20m old is in size 5 daytime and overnight diapers. My 2m is in size 1. What are we all doing to help with peeing through? Both children pee through their diapers at night (my 2m gets changed during his 3am feeding). I make sure both are always pointed down. do I need to go up a size? I’m at a loss.

Struggling to read cues

I'm a 1st time Mum and my boy is just over 4 weeks. I feel like I'm still struggling to read his cues. It feels like the time between me realising hes hungry and him having a full meltdown is 2 seconds. I feel awful every time he cries. Am I being too harsh on myself? Do babies just cry and its fine and I need to just relax. At what point did you feel like you knew what your baby wanted?
