Worried about becoming boring

Does anyone else feel like they’ve become boring since becoming a mum?

When my partner comes home from work, I sometimes feel like all I have to talk about is the baby because that’s all my day consists of. I love being a mum more than anything, but sometimes I miss having little things to talk about and feeling like I have a bit more going on in my own world. I wonder if my partner has noticed it too. He’s always got things to talk about in his day. I just feel like I repeat myself each day.

I wouldn’t change my life for anything and my son is my whole world. but I think it’s easy to lose a little bit of yourself in motherhood without even realising it.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who feels like this💕

It’s not just you. I have that feeling, I’ve got nothing to talk about yet he goes on about his work day and I’m happy for him yet I don’t wanna feel like I’m boring yet it’s not boring talking about your baby. Your watching them grow up and reach different milestones that the dad might not get to see, capturing the moment and later on sharing if so is something that’ll be amazing to share

Looking for friends!🤗

Hello everyone! I’m 27 and a mom-to-be. I’m currently at 18W5D. I just joined Peaunut and i’m so excited to make girl friends here since i don’t have a lot of mom-friends in real life. I love watching movies & anime’s, i read books, i love traveling, i also play mobile games and i absolutely love trying out new restaurants and matcha/coffee shops around! I cannot see waves so don’t be shy to message me, i love people that are just go w the flow and that just feels like talking to a long lost friend!😂💖

Advice on only/multiple kids

I just had my first baby at the beginning of September. I’m turning 34 next week and have been struggling with whether we should have more children. We tried for a few years for our daughter so it wasn’t easy. And I’m not a dinosaur or anything, but I definitely feel that way when I think about having another baby in the next couple years 👵

At the same time, my step son who we have part time is 10years old so my little girl would be an only child. I had my little sister growing up and now we are so close. I know the beauty of having a sibling to grow with. I worry about her being lonely 🥺 Especially since I don’t have family or friends with kids close to her age or with children at all.

Any advice/wisdom?

Best friend?

Hey yall so I'm looking for that one friend I can call when I'm bored and we chat about anything and everything, someone open to all conversations and isn't afraid of communication, if something I say (I'm unfiltered) rubs you the wrong way, let me know, I'll fix it. I feel as if I'm pretty funny and I find a lot of inappropriate things hilarious. I'm gross lmfao we all pee we all poop and we all fart etc. if your down to get to know me feel free to message.

Zero sex drive

Will it ever get back to normal? I’ll preface by saying my fiance is great, he’s doing as much as he can when comes home from work both with LO and with household tasks - laundry , cooking, cleaning. He’s trying to be supportive of me, telling me I am great mum, always tells me how pretty I look etc. But we are just in this roommate mode and don’t know when will that change. He sometimes tries to initiate but I’m not really interested in anything intimate. We have been not having penetrative sex since probably March as had some pregnancy complications with my placenta, just lots of hand stuff. Now I’m two months postpartum and we have done some hand stuff again but that’s it. I can tell it bothers him, but I’m just really not interested. During the day all my focus is on the baby, and in the evening when we home I just want to relax. This is obviously effecting the rest of the relationship and I feel like he’s starting to resent me. I just don’t know how to fix it? I don’t want to have sex just to fix stuff, but also know it most likely won’t repair without that part as well. When will I feel desire for intimacy again?
