Hello,
I’m a solo parent. SMBC.
I will be travelling alone with my 2.5yrs plus son, to USA with a connecting flight. I want minimal handheld load for convenience.
Also, we’ve missed our connecting flight before while waiting for cabin crew to give us his stroller from the hold - so want to avoid that again.
Please is this Ride on Suitcase a good option for getting through airport walks with him or does anyone have an alternative recommendation?

That depends on your child really. Mine has a ride on suitcase but rarely actually rides on it, she prefers to wander so usually we strap her in the pushchair tbh. Too easy to get up and walk off. Some airlines will let you wheel a pushchair up to boarding then they stow it in the hold and you collect it with the rest of the luggage after, that would be my recommendation. I’d probably still get the suitcase cos it’s cute 😂 but I don’t think it’s a necessity or is going to make things particularly easier if you’re just going to end up negotiating the toddler back on to the case constantly lol

Honestly they’re a right faff! Be easier carrying the child 😂
My child's nursery has asked me to refill the funding form. Last one was mislaid.
Online it keeps telling me I am NOT illegible for any form of childcare funding, is this correct?
They're 3 and do 12 hours a week (under the free 15 hour funding)
The TYF881-******* code doesn't apply anymore as my child is 3? Do I need any sort of code?
Do I just fill out my form with details and no code is needed, genuinely I am SO confused

I don’t watch the news but my social media is full of people preparing for a blackout. Stocking cupboards and getting emergency essentials.
Who is actually doing this?
My husband said it’s crap and nothing will happen but a part of me thinks what if it does and we have nothing?
We have 2 kids and I would hate if it actually did happen and we had nothing and the shops were empty :(

Has anyone else NOT started potty training yet? I feel so much pressure seeing other kids the same age being potty trained but I know my little boy isn’t ready. He used to go and sit on the toilet and doesn’t even do that now. He sometimes tells us when he has pooed but not always. I am off on maternity until May and he doesn’t start pre school till next September so I know there’s loads of time. It’s just hard not comparing

Anyone realizing that you’re the problem in your relationship? We have a 6 month old, and since I was pregnant I questioned if I really loved my partner and truly wanted to be with him. He isn’t financially stable, not as healthy as I’d prefer, and I think he’s moody and stubborn. But he has no friends so he stays home and works on his dream which I admire.
Anyways I have caused a lot of drama in our relationship because I think I take out my anger on him.
I feel like I wanna cheat, be with other guys, be single, co-parent…
I even complain to myself about how he isn’t that attractive and I deserve a more attractive man and a rich man lol.
I’m like, am I lowkey a narcissist and selfish and mean!?
Anyone else feel like this… what do you do
