Rolling around

Help! My son is a little over nine months old and changing his diaper and putting clothes on him is an absolute nightmare. Anybody have any suggestions to help me not lose my sanity with changing and dressing my little alligator at this point?
I’ve tried singing and toy distraction and at this point it doesn’t work anymore. Lol.

Try different toys or something like a remote control my son does this and sometimes the things he really want helps like the tv remote that I never let him play with you can take the batteries out and place then some where safe if u don’t want him turning the tv while he holds it

We do the one leg over the top of the baby method lol. When we change our baby on the floor I’ll sit with my leg over the top lightly of her tummy. Was recommend by health visitor

i hand mine a diaper to hold when i change his diaper it works for now and for getting him dressed i have him sit up for the shirt and stand up for the pants takes a bit longer but keeps him focused enough to be still for a bit

With my son i talked to him and got him to laugh which kept him still long enough for me to get his diaper changed and get his clothes on

I give my boys like the lotion bottle or a tube of something because they really like to hold certain things. Especially new things so I try to switch it up 🤣🤣🤣🤣 one of my boys moves way more than the other but it works. Also when I change them in the living room when their show is on it distracts them as well and they are still plus I think they think it’s cool to watch it like upside down 🙃 hope this will help

Weaning poos

Is it normal for a baby to constantly poo when they start weaning? My daughter is pooing so much since we started weaning last week, as in every nappy has some amount of poo in it. Just want to make sure this is normal before contacting doctors etc

Talking

My son is 2 years and 6 months he can say alot of words me and his dad can make out what he's saying and he has improved a lot since starting nursery in January

However I know I shouldn't compare but when I see kids his age, they're speaking in sentences, can directly ask for what they want, and their communication is much more stronger. However, my son has great understanding and can follow instructions. His speech is not clear, but people can understand him. I don't know what I can do to support him further and I don't know if I should be concerned enough to take him to the doctors. I've taken him to the doctors before and they said that because he can understand things, he will eventually pick up more words and start saying sentences. This was when he was 2 years old.

Breastfeeding

I’m finding my 2 week old will feed on the breast for 5-10 minutes and then pull off? She’s putting on weight and otherwise healthy but it worries that it’s such short amount of time and then she’ll sleep for few hours.

Has anyone else found this?

Thanks!

Bottle washers

Should I invest in a bottle washer? We do not have a dishwasher. I am looking between the Mum cozy and the baby breeza (I’m from Australia, options are limited) thoughts?

Bedtime help

My LO is 11 weeks old and she is so hard to get to sleep at night time. We don’t follow a set routine and follow her cues. She will contact nap throughout the day but naps are pretty inconsistent and if I try to transfer her she will wake up and cry straight away.

At night time she is so tired and fighting sleep so hard, we will give her a bottle or boob and she will be fast asleep but the second we put her in the cot she is wide awake and crying hysterically, but she will fall back asleep on me or her dad. Once she has been asleep on one of us for an hour to 2 hours we can then put her in her cot and she will sleep thought the night.

Any advice to get her sleep in her cot with out 1/2 contact sleep on a night time?
