Hi girls I just recently started going to the gym, I usually run/walk a mile and I do a few machine workouts but I haven’t seen a difference at all… I thought maybe if I had a routine I could actually see progress. What is a good app that would be actually worth paying for? Or what routines have been working it out for you?

Eating less no lie bonus is if you walk workout etc

Sweat by Kayla Itsines App! There is heaps of different programs on there to suit your goals. I loved the PWR program by Kelsey Wells but all would be good. Each exercise has a video so you can see form and make sure you’re doing it correctly, plus meal plans etc

Also just so you know it’s all about consistency! You see progress over time not in a short period of time unless you do bulk and cut and diet work. Make sure you’re eating enough protein for your body weight or you will not notice a difference. Keep at it and over time you’ll see the difference! I’ve been going for 12 years and it’s not until you look back on old pics sometimes that you notice the difference because it happens slowly!

KEEP GOING. IT takes months, sometimes (usually) years to see progress. You said you recently started going gym so before we see actual results the body has to first acclimate to the new diet and extra tension on the body. I didn’t actually notice my own progress in the mirror until I started getting comments and compliments from people…who I haven’t seen in a couple months. They’re like…”Kellie! You’ve lost weight!” But I didn’t see it coz I look in the mirror every day. Until like a year later my pants started getting loose and I thought I’d try on my old jeans, pre preg jeans and they actually fit and that’s when it hit me, okay wow I have lost weight. But now looking back at pics I really see it but at the time I couldn’t. It’s not a specific app or workout or diet. It’s the most simplest of workouts, done consistently over year. It took ME 14m (post 3rd baby) to lose 44lbs. The only advice I have is keep going. This journey takes years, and then a lifetime after of good habits.

You can also use chat gpt to do a workout plan for you. I personally havnt used it but I know a few friends that have. Be consistent and you’ll see a change in time x

Find a routine that suits your goals and then just stick to that week in week out and progressively overload. I do 2/3 glute focused leg days, and 2/3 upper body. And then 30 minutes incline walking a few days a week.
Lower body (glute focused) -
Hip abduction 3x12-15
Hip thrust 3x12-15
Leg press 3x12-15
Rdl 3x12-15
Cable kick backs or step ups 3x12-15
Upper body -
Lat pull down 3x12-15
Cable triceps/biceps 3x12-15
Shoulder press 3x12-15
Chest press 3x12-15
Seated rows 3x12-15

Looking for a mom friend who’s a little unconventional like me! 🖤💀 I’m a laid-back, horror movie-loving, true crime-obsessed mama who runs on coffee, dark humor, and good conversation. ☕🔪👻
I’d love to find a genuine friendship with someone who gets it, loves to laugh, and can talk about anything without judgment. Bonus points if you love all things spooky year-round! 🥀🖤

I’m 32 and I feel like I’m giving up on trying to make friends because every time I try it’s like I don’t get met with the same energy🫠 how is everyone making friends?? I’ve tried on this app, I’ve tried in person, tik tok I feel like I’ve tried everywhere. I commented on this girls tik tok where she was local to me and she commented back and I was excited to possibly make a friend and go back to it and she blocked me.
