YES it’s been a nightmare today!

Oh yeah. He rarely sleeps if it’s not a contact nap.

Haha yes my girl was the biggest contact napper. Only way she “grew out of it” was a weighted sleep sack. They’re controversial but it helped her get used to being put down to sleep.

Yesss 🤣🤣🤣 it’s normal though

That used to happen to me, I used to do feed, sleep (she used to fall asleep on me while feeding), then when she woke up I would play with her or do anything. I changed to wake up and the first thing I do is feed her then stays playing or doing anything and at the end sleep without feeding first.
Get the app Gemini or Chat GPT, record what do you in a day (feeds, naps and wake windows) and then ask to help you change routine because you have “so and so” problem.

I learned to soak it in for now but also keeping something close by to her while supervised. Also the hatch -go really helped!

I put my babe down while she is still using me as a pacifier (very awkward to get her in the bassinet that way) and then switch to having my cheek touch her cheek for a few seconds until it seems like shes all the way back asleep. It usually works!

Yesss but I let her sleep in my arms if she will fall asleep because she fights sleep horribly, I want her to get rest so she doesn’t get over tired so I just stopped trying to put her down during the day
Diaper pic in comments. My 4 week old has had 2 diapers now with small amount of bright red blood. The first one was a normal yellow colored poop but this one is green. Of course the pediatrician is closed for the weekend so I’ll call them tomorrow but has anyone seen a diaper like this?

We’re two weeks into this new chapter 💗
Would love to hear how you manage a newborn and a toddler, especially when you’re on your own with both. Any tips or little things that have helped you would be so appreciated! 🫶🏼💕

Is anyone else in the trenches with a 6 month old. My boy is awful at the moment. He won’t sleep through the night cos he’s up randomly screaming. He wants to crawl but he can’t so he sits on his hands and knees screaming. Put him down he screams. He’s teething so obvs his screaming. Nap time he screams. The soundtrack to my life is the tiny thing screaming and if you ignore him he screams louder

We have tried the whole self sooth with a dummy method and it works a couple of times, but most of the time he’s fed to sleep or rocked. Please tell me we’re not the only ones who’s babies aren’t fully self soothing yet?

Anyone else’s routine just gone out the window today since the clocks have changed?? 🤣🙈🙈 my 8 month old missed her afternoon nap and fell asleep around 4pm and has been snoozing since- but to her it’s and hour later and she’s fallen asleep earlier becuase she was awake earlier today? I’m all over the place today, hope it’s not just me 😅

I have a 4 month old who is recently so sensitive to any single noise. Even if people laugh too loud he screams the house down. Any noise is just too much.
He’s also randomly been inconsolable all day whilst at my mum’s house. So much so I couldn’t even get him in the car seat to leave because he couldn’t breathe due to crying THAT much. He is teething but I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Everything is a struggle.
It’s so unlike him. His temperature is fine and I can’t see anything obvious. Don’t know what to do.
