Hi all,
I just wanted to ask what nappies you all prefer, I had my daughter 16 years ago and didn’t really rate pampers back then. What nappies are the best now to avoid leakage etc.
Thanks :)

I used Sainsbury’s own brand for size 0 & 1. Then they go downhill so we use rascals now and my baby is in size 4

I used Tesco nappies the first two months but then the quality went really bad from size 3 onwards. Personally I found the only ones that don’t leak to be pampers and little rascals x

I use pampers and they leaked a lot when he was between sizes 0-1 but I don’t know if all nappies do that when between sizes I’ve never used any others 😂 but my little boy seems to get on with them otherwise. We use mamia wipes which are great and I’ve also heard great things about the mamia nappies!! X

I use Aldi or Asda. I’ve tried Sainsburys but they leak a lot of the time 🙈 I don’t really like pampers either as I think they stink x

Asda - Little Angels

Rascals. The only thing I've found where my lo doesn't have blow outs or leaks.

Aldi for the smaller sizes. For the bigger sizes weve done pampers and started using fred and flo (tesco) as well. Ocado ones are good too

We used beaming baby bamboo nappies until she grew out of all the sizes they provided then moved onto peachies which are also great

We started out with pampers and they literally leaked so much, we then randomly tried to Sainsbury’s own brand and used those all the way through until potty trained as they never leaked and could hold when full overnight

I use pampers harmonie and have never had an issue.

I used the Mamia size 1 for newborns and they were great, especially at £0.75 a pack 😂 but unfortunately the size 2 didn’t work, they’re quite small and we kept having leaks and blowouts. We’re now using pampers and they fit much better. No issues for us! 🤗

i use the morrisons nutmeg ones during the day and pampers for outings/night time :) never had any issues. ive tried other brands, personally the mamia ones were horrendous for us they barely hold anything!

Aldi till size 3, sainsburys until my daughter started to leak when she started doing huge wees (size 6) then went onto pampers. My second daughter gets really bad nappy rash off all nappies apart from rascals, which are great nappies just a nightmare to get hold of around me.

Asda or aldi but my recommendation would be to try all supermarket own brands and see what you prefer/what is most convenient for you!

Kit and kin or Peachies. They are quite pricey though

Thank you all!! ❤️❤️

Kit and Kin or pampers
Hi mamas 💕
I was hoping to do an appointment in person to see how prams worked.
However, I’ve had a difficult pregnancy where I went on for a follow up scan at 22 weeks which resulted in a 6 week stay in hospital. I’m now back at home but fully on strict bedrest (just going to hospital appts only). Gutted my pregnancy isn’t what I expected but happy I’ve reached 28 weeks now 🥰
Any recommendations of prams/travel systems? We are having this one thing gifted, so ideally I’d like to try buy in Black Friday Sales for a good deal.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏼

How did everyone deal with the 1st illness? Baby boy is 6.5 months old and has caught his 1st cold. Snotty and a cough. He seems to breathe fine when napping (contact naps) but at night it's awful and we are up most of the night. I've got the vapour plug in, baby Vicks coming today and olbas oil. Any advice on how to get everyone a better nights sleep? He seems to be up all night and napping all day 🤦

My baby is almost 11 months old and he has contact napped since day 1. I’ve decided I want to stop these now so I get some time to myself and can start getting stuff done around the house.
He still feeds to sleep. I tried putting him down this morning after 10 minutes of him falling asleep on me and he woke up instantly. I’ve replicated his room to bedtime so he has his white noise machine on and his light projector but he still won’t sleep. He doesn’t particularly like being rocked either. Any suggestions?

What diapers is everyone using for overnight? My 7 month old leaks through no matter what. I've tried sizing up, sizing down, layering a pull up over his normal diaper, multiple overnight changes. No matter what I do every morning he is soaked. I can change him during every wakeup and from 6-10am no matter when we wake up that last stretch of sleep, he leaks through. It's affecting both our sleep. I can tell he's still tired in the morning but once I have to change all his clothes and take his sleep sack off he's too riled up to go back to sleep.

My breastfeeding journey has been really difficult. My baby struggled with latching, and since his tongue-tie snip around 8 weeks old, he has completely refused the breast. He takes bottles well, but cries whenever I try to bring him to my nipple. 💔
I’m currently pumping and really want to help him latch again, but I’m feeling lost and don’t know what to try next. I have tried nipple shield and he latched couple of times but he struggles and refuses and cries as soon as he feels the fake nipple on his lips. I really really really really want to breastfeed.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did your baby eventually return to breastfeeding? I’d really appreciate any advice, tips or personal experiences.
