Having a panic about scan tomorrow

Hi ladies,

I had a mmc in Jan & I’m having a panic about my 12w scan tomorrow (I’ll be 13w) because that’s where we found out the last baby had died.

I know nobody can help or know the outcome but I can’t relax at all worrying we’ll get the same result. Wahhhh

Hi hun, I’m so sorry to hear that. I also have my scan tomorrow I’ll be 13weeks on Wednesday. I have suffered badly with anxiety also 6 years trying with miscarriages and now a round of ivf has been our success story.
What has reallyyyy helped me I highly recommend is buying a Doppler scanner. (£30 on Amazon) We regularly listen to the heartbeat 💓 and it’s given me so much reassurance 🥰
Good luck for tomorow 🫶🏻✨💗

I am having the same worries. I have my scan on Wednesday and cant shake the feeling. Ive had very few symptoms this pregnancy, where as with my 1st, I think I ticked every symptom box going....
I keep trying to tell myself that if something is wrong, then it's for the best they move on than suffer even more by being born. But it's no less heartbreaking.
Just know you're not alone, and it's the most normal thing in the world to worry. The worry never stops either... your kids will always make you grey with worry haha

C sections

Has anyone had an emergency c section and a planned c section and know whether pain/recovery is any different. I know you shouldn’t compare but it took me a couple of weeks to be properly mobile after my emergency c section (I could walk very very slowly and needed support getting up out of bed etc.) My friend had a planned c section and was mobile very quickly afterwards. I didn’t know whether this was just based off different people’s pain threshold etc or whether it was due to mine being emergency and hers planned in case I need a c section for next baby.

C-section or natural birth?

hey guys! i’m pregnant with my first and am so torn between a c-section or a vaginal/natural birth? i never really imagined myself having a c-section but with 1 in 4 births being emergency c-sections nowadays, i don’t know if i should just psych myself up for one?

would love to know what other mums have done, birth experiences, if you’ve done both etc.

TIA! xxx

Advice on surviving newborn trenches?

Really struggling, baby is only 12 days old and things are pretty difficult. I had an emergency section, so recovery has been tough as well. My husband has basically spent his paternity leave running errands…

Gestational diabetes & chocolate

I have gestational diabetes and I am craving sweet treats constantly which is an absolute nightmare 😫 I’ve read that diabetes chocolate is actually no good… has any one else had/has gestational diabetes and found any particular sweet treat/chocolate that is low in sugar and hasn’t spiked their blood sugars ??
