Is anyone else suffering through the four month regression? We’ve gone to having a very unhappy baby boy every evening - he’s distracted at the breast (won’t take a bottle), bawling for 30 mins + every night and has gone to one hour wake ups throughout the night (he was sleeping through for seven hours 😩). Please tell me it gets better as I feel like I’m failing miserably at the minute!!

We’re in the same boat with our little one! Fighting all her naps when she’s clearly tired and up a few times through the night when she was sleeping through.
I’m trying to keep routine, naps through the day no longer than an hour and a half, bed time between half 7/half 8 and looking out for her tired cues through the day and trying to get her to sleep as soon as I notice them.
I keep telling myself it’s just a phase it will be over soon 🙃 it’s hard when they were sleeping through you get used to having some sleep.. we’ve got this 💪🏼

We are the complete opposite and starting to feel a tad more normal now.
Hes 3 and half months old and only just starting to go 7 or 8 hours at night after being up nearly every 2 hour.
But he cries every evening and has done since about 4 weeks from 5.30pm till 7pm then he goes to bed.
It was very stressful and I felt the same very much like why can't I as his mum comfort him.
But I have just had to accept this won't be forever and to not stress about it.
I know its going to happen every night and I don't go out after 5.
We have found that he loves a bath. I know they shouldn't bath everyday but it does calm him before bed and gives him a routine so goes in about 6.40pm then bed by 7.

My little boy still doesn't quite have a routine and we haven't reached yet a long sleeping stretch, the longest is about 5h and then wakes up for a feed about every 1.5-2h. The most challenging part is when he's hungry and won't latch to breast and cry and won't feed unless we dance and sing while at breast... for some reason he likes baby shark ( my eldest started singing it to him and noticed it calmed him down ) and we repeat at almost all day feeds... tried other nursery rhymes without avail.... tried other popular songs and so far only baby shark works 🤣🤣
Hi all,
I just wanted to ask what nappies you all prefer, I had my daughter 16 years ago and didn’t really rate pampers back then. What nappies are the best now to avoid leakage etc.
Thanks :)

How did everyone deal with the 1st illness? Baby boy is 6.5 months old and has caught his 1st cold. Snotty and a cough. He seems to breathe fine when napping (contact naps) but at night it's awful and we are up most of the night. I've got the vapour plug in, baby Vicks coming today and olbas oil. Any advice on how to get everyone a better nights sleep? He seems to be up all night and napping all day 🤦

My breastfeeding journey has been really difficult. My baby struggled with latching, and since his tongue-tie snip around 8 weeks old, he has completely refused the breast. He takes bottles well, but cries whenever I try to bring him to my nipple. 💔
I’m currently pumping and really want to help him latch again, but I’m feeling lost and don’t know what to try next. I have tried nipple shield and he latched couple of times but he struggles and refuses and cries as soon as he feels the fake nipple on his lips. I really really really really want to breastfeed.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did your baby eventually return to breastfeeding? I’d really appreciate any advice, tips or personal experiences.

What diapers is everyone using for overnight? My 7 month old leaks through no matter what. I've tried sizing up, sizing down, layering a pull up over his normal diaper, multiple overnight changes. No matter what I do every morning he is soaked. I can change him during every wakeup and from 6-10am no matter when we wake up that last stretch of sleep, he leaks through. It's affecting both our sleep. I can tell he's still tired in the morning but once I have to change all his clothes and take his sleep sack off he's too riled up to go back to sleep.

Hi all, how are you doing your daytime naps with your baby?
I usually have to breastfeed my baby and then if I’m lucky he’ll fall asleep but if not, he stays awake for hours and won’t go to sleep at all until maybe next feed but even then, he can go hours without sleeping.
I wonder, should I treat naps like night time? We struggle less at night, I change him into his night outfit, put him in his sleep sack and nurse to sleep then transfer to crib. Should I do the same for day time naps? I thought we had to differentiate the two and as they recommend having baby in the same room as you for the first 6 months, I have never really left him alone for a nap so it’s in our bedroom and I don’t really make it super dark or quiet because I need to get stuff done. Just recently I’ve been using a monitor to do some stuff quickly around the house but I’m confused I don’t know what to do.
Also there is almost now way to get him to nap without nursing him to sleep, I can rock him all I want he won’t sleep, he’ll snooze then wake up the second I love ..
