On October 14th, I lost my old girl, Emma. My younger dog (Zeke) became very ill the night she passed. I thought he was mourning, but it soon became apparent that he was genuinely sick. He had exploratory surgery and they found lymphoma. I haven’t been able to process the grief from Emma’s death because I’ve been so caught up in saving Zeke. I’m so overwhelmed and sad. I don’t know how to balance being a mom, Speech & OT, losing my girl, and chemotherapy for my baby dog. I feel like I’m spiraling.

I am so sorry for the pain you are going through and the loss of your sweet girl, Emma.
I wish there were words I could say to you to make everything better.
I hope you realize how strong you are. Think of all the people who just give away their loyal additional family members like Emma and Zeke.
You didn't do that. You kept them and you juggle it all. Emma and Zeke are so incredibly lucky to have you as their mom.
Your baby is going to have a great example of a parent.
Be strong for Zeke and your baby. While I know your heart is hurting, know that Emma doesn't think you don't care because you haven't had time to grieve. We go through so many stages including guilt and I just want you to remember that. & when you find moments to grieve the release will help. She knows you are with her brother.
Stay strong, don't lose hope. I know the pain you are going through and it is not easy. You're going to be okay. Try to live in the moment as much as you can and cherish family time.

One last note: When I lost my fur baby I was going to grief counseling.
He told me to read a book called Stillness Speaks by Eckhart Tolle. Very very easy read and it helped so much.
If you ever need a counselor his name is Tom Burkizer and it's called Lucky's Rainbow. You can do it remotely if you ever feel you need help down the road. He is great.
Hey all, my nearly 5 month old has started going 6-8 hours between feeds at night which is great but he wakes up with his nappy leaking up the front. There's still absorption left at the back of his nappy but since learning to roll he sleeps on his front.
Any advice on stopping these leaks? I tried putting a size up nappy over his regular one but that had him uncomfortable and waking up every 1-2 hours.

I have been really struggling with my recovery post my C section, it’s almost 4 months now but I keep getting pains in my scar area, my stomach from bottom feels painful when touching and I struggle with holding my baby for long or putting him in the crib and same when bending to pick him up from it. Is this normal or shall I get checked?

Hi all! Do you have any recommendations for feeding bottle and pump sterilisers? I need to do some formula top ups and pump regularly so the sterilisation is a long process, any ideas are welcome, thanks.
