Maternity leave

I think I’m gonna leave it as long as possible, so complete opposite 😂 I’m looking at end of Feb

Ill be waiting as long as possible to have the time off with baby. Likely the end of February.

My daughter came at 37+1 so I'm going to be finishing work between 36-37 just in case this one wants to come early too!

I'm the opposite lol I will be telling work I'm starting on my due date 😂 I do WFH though so if I feel tired towards the end I might just ask for half days off ...mainly because I want as much time as possible with baby

I worked right up to my induction date, I wanted to have as much time with baby as possible

I'm working up to 39 weeks! And taking annual leave the week before. More time with baby is more important to me

I’m going off at 36 weeks! Couple weeks to myself before the wee guy arrives then lots of time with him as a baby!

I have to drive to work so not sure how long I'll be able to drive. May be able to WFH or local office closer to the time.

I’m having a c section at 38 weeks this time. Because of that, and when it lands I’m finishing on Christmas eve and using up flexi time otherwise I lose it. But my actual mat leave starts 1st Jan. my c-section will be around 6th Jan. if it was any other time or situation I’d just take mat leave a week before my due date or work as close to as possible. I want to make the most of the time with baby not without but everyone is different.

I'm also the opposite, will try to work until my due date/ elective c section date. I do WFH though and have plenty of flexibility with breaks etc. I want to have as much time as possible with the baby and if I went off early I'd be just anxiously sitting at home and waiting.
