Anyone else's baby just not interested in eating at all? 😭😂
My girl will be 7 months next week, started weaning around 3 weeks ago, first few days were good and she was eating purees and seemed to be enjoying them. But now as soon as the spoon comes near her mouth she shuts her mouth tight and is just not interested in the slightest!
I haven't really done much blw as I've been a bit scared but wondering if it's worth trying to see if she will enjoy that more?
Just to add she always seems interested when we are eating as if she wants food but then when we give her anything she's like 🤐

My first was like this. My health visitor told me that untill they are 1 it’s all about different tastes and textures so doesn’t matter if they have much.
I ended up doing some
Veggies for him to grab and then had a bowl of purée and we went between the two x

Maybe try BLW! Or even some foods she can bite but not eat like watermelon with the rind on and most the flesh cut off, pineapple core, mango pit, strip of steak. Solid starts have lots of ideas. My boy is similar lately, he’s not really into purées now but he will want to touch and mouth finger foods so I’m going to work on offering more and try not to worry about whether or not he eats any
Thank you guys, I think I'll try some finger food that she can explore a bit with. I wouldn't mind if she didn't eat much but she's literally not even entertaining it 😂 I've tried putting the bowl in front of her, giving her the spoon, trying on different bowls/plates/spoons etc and she's having none of it haha

Try the solid starts app , it’ll show you how to serve for BLW

Maybe just let them play with food. My baby doesn't like pureed food on a spoon, sometimes he likes to hold the spoon with me... most of the times he likes to use his hands to eat and play with food. What foods are you eating? My baby loved spinach, wasn't interested in cauliflower. He prefers finger food to pureed. how to wean your baby charlotte stirling... this book is excellent .
Currently I can chop veg up and put it in the airfryer whilst keeping my eye on the baby but that's it any suggestions please let me know

So I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first will be 2 years 10 months when I give birth. I’m really beating myself up about him having to share me. I’m already really grieving it being just me and him (and his dad) before the babies even here. I love my son and my unborn baby more than anything and my main priority is making sure they are both happy and healthy. My son is the most happiest little boy ever and I’m so worried for this massive change for him and I don’t want it to dull his spark or burst his bubble at all. I know in the long run he’ll be so grateful for having a sibling but I’m just anxious for the change and him adapting. Please can people give me reassurance that have experienced this and let me know everything’s going to be okay😂🥺

I thought I had made 1 or 2 mum friends from a baby class, but as soon as some others started who were also in our antenatal classes (none of us really seemed to bond at the antenatal classes, with everyone turning up and just going home at the start and end of the classes) it felt like it became a clique and I was the outsider. I'd never felt more alone or awkward, and where I would normally have stayed for a coffee, I left for jome feeling quite sad.

I work 9 to 5 and I am only able to give my daughter solids when I get home around 5:30pm. I still don’t feel too comfortable with her Nanny giving her food at this time just because we did have a scare of choking. Am I the only one only doing once a day feedings???
