I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I used to have a back pain before pregnancy. Now it’s getting worst day by day. I’ve been taking 1000mg Tylenol every day for almost 2 weeks just to be able to get through the day. I also work from home so sitting on the desk is not helping as i sit on the dinning table and the chair is so uncomfortable. I was thinking of buying a new chair but im going on maternity leave in Feb and it didn’t make sense for me to buy a chair for only 3 month.
Anything I can do to make this any easier??

Have you gone to a chiropractor? I definitely suggest going. Our bodies have a lot of hormones going through them so it relaxes a lot of our muscles and bones so things shift all the time. And that can cause a lot of back pain. So going to the chiropractor can help adjust your hips and pelvis and stuff like that. Make sure you go to someone that has the proper things for pregnant women. Like a pillow you can lay on your belly with

maybe look into stretching for pregnancy

For sitting try buying a yoga ball! They aren’t super expensive and honestly helped relieve a lot of tension in my hips and back when I was pregnant! I think it’s always a good idea to mention it to your Dr especially if you feel like it’s affecting your ability to function

You can try one of those donut seat pillows and if you dont use the belly support band I suggest getting one.

Ouch! Are you doing any type of strength training currently? It sounds counterintuitive but can reverse the pain when the muscles surrounding your back (like your hips, core and glutes) are able to support it. The back can take on the brunt of pain when there's an imbalance. Happy to chat more and dig deeper into this if you'd like.
Also, I do feel that a more supportive chair would be a worthwhile investment, even if it's just for 3 months 🤍
Very early (7dpo evening I believe)… do you see anything?

First time mum here and I just want to know, how many days on average do you stay in the hospital for after birth? For both vaginal and c-section

I meet another single mum on mat leave and we kept in contact, kids going to the same nursery etc.
It was her little ones 3rd birth day so
I wished him happy birthday on what’s app. I only knew as she put it as a status.
She then messaged back with all the parties he’s having…. So I clarified if my little one wasn’t invited (I kinda don’t know why she was telling me as I didn’t ask).
She said no he wasn’t. I said no worries.
I told her I was hurt as I thought we were closer and that our kids did play together etc…. And she didn’t acknowledge my hurt feels but was just more practical saying she just wanted a smaller party.
Things haven’t been the same since and I don’t bother to message her etc but to be honest I was finding her behaviour a little odd anyway.
It’s now my son’s birthday, would it be ok if I invite her son or are they not close so I don’t bother?
I’m getting nowhere with nursery and his close friend has recently left for another nursery so I’m a bit lost.

My daughter was born 3 weeks earlier than her due date due to a low lying placenta, she’s not quite sitting up on her own just yet, do you think we need to wait before weaning her? She’s got good head control but just can’t sit unaided just yet.

Are you all doing a urine sample at every appointment? I had my 25 week appt today and I wasn’t asked for one despite mentioning having issues with an achey bladder and trouble emptying it at times. I haven’t done one since my first appt at 9 weeks!
In my first pregnancy (same midwife team, same place etc) I did it religious EVERY time I saw anyone, even when I went in to triage for reduced movements for example. Just feels a bit weird especially as they put on my notes that it has been done.
