How much are you all getting up to around 2 weeks post birth? I know everyone's recovery is so different it's hard to compare but I'm really scared about overdoing it and causing problems, but on the other hand am feeling well and feel like I could maybe be doing more than I am! I feel like the anxiety of doing too much is stopping me from really doing anything at all 🙈

I am 3 weeks pp tomorrow after an emergency C-section at 33 weeks, baby girl in SCBU and a toddler being passed between family members, so I didn’t have a choice but to get up and go ! I do regret trying to do so much on my own as I’m in a lot of pain now compared to the first few days pp.
So id say if you have the option then rest while you can !!! C-section recovery is no joke !
Congratulations 🩷💙

I’m in the same boat! I’m 9 days post section and haven’t been on many pain killers but I’m totally aware that if I do too much I might be doing more damage than good. We went on a very slow walk around the pond for an hour and I’ve walked up to the midwife and back and been to Costa to sit in. I’ve cleaned the house twice now (I loved doing this when pregnant and before so it’s my coping mechanism for feeling blue). I think we are best doing the bare minimum because we should be recovering and your body will tell you when you’re doing too much!

I am 12 days PP after an emergency C-Section and I feel you! I am feeling pretty good but as soon as I do too much I get sore again. I stick to 10 minute walks and light housework that doesn’t require lifting and much be ding for now to keep a balance of rest and not going insane from sitting in the couch all day

2 weeks 1 day pp. Managed to get out and go on a nice steady long walk around the town today, very slow. Tried not to over do it too much, just take it steady and listen to your body. I think taking it slow and not rushing really helps. Currently have antibiotics for a c sec wound infection too so just trying to keep upright and moving a little more to keep it dry. Good luck! I’m 11 days pp after emergency c section and I’m up and about but I need to take a lot of breaks and spend most of my time sitting. I also sometimes struggle to carry my baby or hold her for too long. My appetite has been terrible as well so I feel very weak most of the time
I am trying to plan my daughter’s birthday party for when she turns 2. The play area I want to book offers 1 hour 45 min slots at either 13:30 or 15:45. There will be children mainly around the age of 2, but others ages 1-3 as well. I know nap times will vary, and most live less than 30 mins away. Which time do you all think sounds preferable?

Hi everyone! I’m currently 37+2 and getting induced in 2 days time due to recurrent reduced fetal movement. Hoping to hear some positive induction stories of anyone who’s gone through it before? I was hoping to be able to go naturally before then, but midwife couldn’t do a sweep today as not even 1cm 😭

I feel at constant loggerheads at the moment, all we do is argue and get angry each other. It’s completely down to sleep deprivation and stress but this doesn’t make it any easier when thinking about it. Just want things to go back to normal.

I’ve had a reassurance scan today as have had previous losses but only a sac and yolk could be seen…
The lady was quite harsh and just rebooked me for 2 weeks time
Googling seems to say this is right until the 6 week mark?!
Anyone been here before?!

Hi, moms! My little one is here! He was born on October 26, though he was due on October 31. I was induced because of gestational diabetes.
The induction was successful, but it was brutal. I spent about three days in the hospital starting labor from zero.
Besides the gestational diabetes, my little pumpkin is small… He’s 5 lbs. 13 oz., but he’s a healthy, tough little guy. I am
So in love with him. 💙👶🍼
Good luck for all the October mommas!!
