Anyone had a elective c section, I’m a bit nervous as I don’t wanna loose too much blood as I’m very short and I’m just hoping my baby will be fine🤰

I had an elective section, was the best decision I made!

Hi I had elective c section I only lost 250ml of blood. I was so so nervous but honestly I don’t know why I was so nervous I would do it again

My elective section was amazing in 5"2' and I lost far more blood with my first virginal birth than I did with my planned c. Don't worry they take very good care of you x
I met my baby in 7 mins :)
I would do it again!

I had to have c section due to different health risks. I only lost 400ml which i was told was a completely normal quantity.
If there are no complications you should be absolutely fine x

i lost a fair amount (about a litre, and only because i had preeclampsia i think, that's why i had a c section) but they were able to collect it as it bled, clean it, and transfuse it back, it was totally straightforward and painless. so even if you do lose a bit it'll be ok 😊 xx

I am 4’11 and had an elective, lost 1 litre of blood but both me and the baby were fine. I actually didn’t even realise I lost that much blood. I was feeling nauseous during the procedure and my anti sickness meds were increased promptly. So honestly.. you’ll be fine x
33 weeks tomorrow and baby still have quiet periods, like she will kick non stop for a couple off weeks then there will be a couple days where she kicks but not crazy and is more quieter! I’ve had her checked out and they say she is fine anyone else have this x

I think I may be in early labour, I’ve been having contractions since Thursday morning at half 11 but they stop then start up again a few hours later, I’ve also been leaking fluid. I also wiped just and there’s like a yellow-green snot like discharge thing on the wipe. Not sure as I’m a FTM and I’m only 36 weeks pregnant.

My baby boy’s due on 4 April (so I’m 16+6 today) and I’m sure over the past few days I’ve been able to feel a few small movements / flutters.
It’s so hard to differentiate though (I keep thinking is it just gas / belly rumbles or is it him kicking)
Is anyone else feeling anything at this stage? Xx
