Movements slower

Had my first visit to triage yesterday as my baby hadn’t moved as much or as strongly for 24hrs. As I’m 23 weeks all they could do was check her heart rate and as it was fine I was out in under 5mins. I’ve still not felt any of the bigger movements I have been normally and usually I felt baby early mornings and evenings with the odd wriggle through the day. I have an anterior placenta positioned more to my left so I tend to only feel baby on my right, it could be she is on my left side. I became ill in my first pregnancy (also anterior placenta) with pre eclampsia and one of the reasons for his delivery at 32 weeks was discovering the placenta was no longer working as it should, and in the days before this his moments had slowed down. So I can’t help but feel anxious especially as I’m now a high risk pregnancy. I don’t know what to do as there isn’t anymore triage will do until I’m further along so it’s not worth calling them again but I don’t see my midwife for a couple of weeks

It’s difficult not to worry I know, but baby’s don’t get ‘regular’ movement patterns until much further along, obviously mothers intuition shouldn’t be ignored but I don’t think there’s much to worry about at this stage of pregnancy. I didn’t even feel my boy move until 21 weeks😂🙈 any movement is still movement and baby is so tiny at the moment that the kicks and movements won’t be massive yet, you’re doing so well mama💜sending you love💜

Fellow anterior placenta girly here. I couldn’t even be sure if I was feeling the baby or whether it was gas until 24 weeks and even then, it didn’t seem to match what everyone else could feel. Then around 27 weeks little man made himself KNOWN. I think it just takes a bit longer for us, don’t panic (as hard as that is). They’ve checked and your baby doesn’t seem in distress so I’m sure it’s all just muffled by that anterior placenta 😁

Hey girl. It’s happened to me too! If baby moves and starts kicking your placenta you won’t feel it like normal. It’s really hard not to worry x

Impatient rant ig lol 🫤

The lab received my blood sample for the nipt gender test on Friday, since than I have checked the portal at least like once every hour, im excited to find out babys gender, like either gender im happy with but I'm just so impatient and wanna know, I heard earliest can be like 5 days but its usually 7 to 10 days, I cant seem to distract myself at all and just keep checking and seeing it say "processing" which makes me a little sad cause I know its not gonna be this soon but I still was hopeful id see it. I had a dream I opened it and it was there, the second I woke up I checked the portal 🤦‍♀️ nothing yet of course lol.

30 weeks pregnant and miserable!

Is anybody else really struggling with the physical and mental challenges of pregnancy? I really want to just have my baby and be done with it. I’ll start the induction process at 37 weeks but I’m so fed up of it all. Felt like this since 24 weeks and not really sure what to do anymore 😔

Super low

I'm 39 and 1 day. So far I have not had hardly any symptoms. Baby is tooo comfortable in there. Yesterday however I can feel him sitting right on my bladder, hes soooo low that its hard to even move now. Has this been a sign that you'll go into labor within next couple days? Or just another symptom that could last a week or two? I hoping the he'll decide to come now that Halloween is over. 🤞🏻
