Movement

Ahhh I’m panicking. I’m 22 weeks tomorrow and I don’t think I’ve felt the baby.
I have an anterior placenta and it’s my first baby so I know they are all signs it might be later. But yeah can’t help but worry.
Anyone else in a similar position?

Honestly same, I think! I sometimes feel a slight flutter but then I just think it’s in my head or something else. It’s definitely nothing obvious at this point😭

I am in the same boat, trying to not panic as well

I didn’t feel my baby until like 24 ish weeks ago so I wouldn’t panic.

Yeah same here. First baby and 20 weeks. I haven’t felt anything that I can say for certain. Mentioned it to my midwife at my last appointment and she did reassure me it’s normal. If it helps at this stage it can literally be anything. I’ve had flutters, ‘pops’ you name it and thought… is that you? Haha

I'm the exact same. 22 weeks today. And haven't felt any proper movements, I sometimes think I am feeling something....but it could also just be me digesting food, or feeling my own heartbeat. Trying not to panic.

Absolutely the same here! 22wks yday and anterior placenta! Trying not to worry having read it is likely that you may not feel as much with the placenta situation! Sure everything is fine 🤗 x

Movements slower

Had my first visit to triage yesterday as my baby hadn’t moved as much or as strongly for 24hrs. As I’m 23 weeks all they could do was check her heart rate and as it was fine I was out in under 5mins. I’ve still not felt any of the bigger movements I have been normally and usually I felt baby early mornings and evenings with the odd wriggle through the day. I have an anterior placenta positioned more to my left so I tend to only feel baby on my right, it could be she is on my left side. I became ill in my first pregnancy (also anterior placenta) with pre eclampsia and one of the reasons for his delivery at 32 weeks was discovering the placenta was no longer working as it should, and in the days before this his moments had slowed down. So I can’t help but feel anxious especially as I’m now a high risk pregnancy. I don’t know what to do as there isn’t anymore triage will do until I’m further along so it’s not worth calling them again but I don’t see my midwife for a couple of weeks

30 weeks pregnant and miserable!

Is anybody else really struggling with the physical and mental challenges of pregnancy? I really want to just have my baby and be done with it. I’ll start the induction process at 37 weeks but I’m so fed up of it all. Felt like this since 24 weeks and not really sure what to do anymore 😔
