Hi moms ❤️ My 8-month-old baby has had blood mixed with mucus in his poop for the past 5 days. I’ve taken him to his pediatrician, but I still don’t have many answers. He isn’t in pain and is behaving normally, but I’m so worried and feel helpless. Has anyone experienced this with their baby? What was the cause? 😔

I 100% recommend seeking medical attention. My child was seemingly fine until he randomly started throwing up bile & we ended up spending a week in the hospital and he had 2 procedures. I know that’s different than this, but my point is.. you never know whats fully going on because they can’t communicate

Hi mama! ❤️ I can imagine how worried you must be!
Blood and mucus in the stool can have different causes, including intestinal infections or irritation. Has your baby recently started any new foods? Any diarrhea or constipation?
Since it’s been going on for 5 days, I’d definitely recommend another pediatric evaluation, even if he’s acting normally. It might be worth asking about stool testing, too.
Hope you get some answers soon! 💕

My sister went to hospital recently because of this and they said it could be either a virus that they are fighting or a milk allergy

Hun I would go to er...I know you are trying to prevent that but better safe then sorry. You can always follow up with pediatrician but bloddy/mucus stool is alarming and I would go in because your pediatrician ain't doing anything...get some er docs to look at him and give them this pic. Or being a diaper in to show them. 😬

When this was going on with one of my twins @5 months old, we found out she had salmonella. And it looked verrry similar to this. 100% take him to emergency room

Hi. I think it would be best to bypass that doctor and head to the er to see the children’s doctor there and search for a new pediatrician. It’s been five days for the little one and I know you’re worried for him and need clear answers. Keep the diaper to bring with you so they can see it. I hope things are better with him soon. 🫶🏾

I had this with my 9 day old baby last week, we took him to A&E after he had blood and mucas in his poo for a full day they said he has CMPA , and was given a prescription formula , since then he’s been fine
I’m 2 months postpartum and lately I’ve just been feeling like absolute crap. My boyfriend really decided to try talking to a coworker and I found out by going through his phone lmfaooo 😭 this bitch really thought something was gonna happen when the girl wasn’t even entertaining him like that. But honestly we’ve been fighting so much lately that I keep asking myself what truly makes me happy anymore. I genuinely gave myself a whole year to figure shit out and try to make this work. I let myself get controlled in ways I never would’ve allowed before because I was pregnant and wanted my family to work. But mannn I used to be a whole boss bitch. I knew my worth, I stood on business and I did not give a fuck about losing anybody who didn’t bring me peace. Then I met this dumb fuck and somehow along the way I started losing pieces of myself trying to make something work that’s been draining me more than it’s been making me happy. And now I’m sitting here 2 months postpartum wondering when the hell I stopped putting myself first because one thing about me is I know who the fuck I am and I know I deserve better than this 😭💀

My baby was due today born via c-sec on 21st October and she oesn't want to sleep throughout the night? I'm breastfeeding and all we are doing is cluster feeds and check nappy every couple of hours she just doesn't want to settle and sleep till the morning! She's 11 days old!

My 4 week old has slept through last three nights without a feed - I'm talking 11 till 6! Whilst unbelievable...is that ok? He is feeding 8 times at least in day and plenty of wet and dirty nappies. He's above birth weight etc. obviously sleep is great but is it normal? Also aware it will probably not last and that is also ok!

I’m personally a very deep sleeper 😂 can literally sleep through anything and I was really paranoid that I wouldn’t wake up for my baby or maternal instincts wouldn’t kick in for me to wake up. Everyone told me it would be different when I have my own child and that I’d wake up but low and behold, I only wake up when she full on starts crying 😂😅
Anyone else?

I feel like he’s bluffing. I’m 3 weeks postpartum and I honestly wouldn’t not mind sexy time with my husband rn. Of course we’re waiting the full 6 weeks, but he made it a purpose to mention I had to wait till I’m fully heralded cos she will be putting a second baby in me ASAP.
I honestly think he’s bluffing because he already has a 15 yo son and didn’t necessarily want another baby but knew I wanted one and so complied and gave me a baby.
Idk how I feel tbh. My first pregnancy was easy breezy so I don’t think I’d mind another. And if we do have more I’d prefer them back to back. But those labor contractions!! OMG. Not ready for that again lol
