How the fuck do I get my spark back?

I’m 2 months postpartum and lately I’ve just been feeling like absolute crap. My boyfriend really decided to try talking to a coworker and I found out by going through his phone lmfaooo 😭 this bitch really thought something was gonna happen when the girl wasn’t even entertaining him like that. But honestly we’ve been fighting so much lately that I keep asking myself what truly makes me happy anymore. I genuinely gave myself a whole year to figure shit out and try to make this work. I let myself get controlled in ways I never would’ve allowed before because I was pregnant and wanted my family to work. But mannn I used to be a whole boss bitch. I knew my worth, I stood on business and I did not give a fuck about losing anybody who didn’t bring me peace. Then I met this dumb fuck and somehow along the way I started losing pieces of myself trying to make something work that’s been draining me more than it’s been making me happy. And now I’m sitting here 2 months postpartum wondering when the hell I stopped putting myself first because one thing about me is I know who the fuck I am and I know I deserve better than this 😭💀

Honestly it sounds like to get your spark back you leave the man who tried to get with his coworker..

Speaking from personal experience, breaking up with the person who is bringing you down is the healthiest form of self care. It took me three years to finally leave. That was after so many attempted breakups, two arrests, one leading to an assault charge, and many many broken nights. I had ppd for nearly 5 years and when I finally broke ties with my ex, my life changed for the better. Not all at once, but within a few months I saw major changes in myself. The people we’re with influence us and we can either surround ourselves with positive influence or with negative influence. Once I cut ties and cleared my inner circle of negative influence, my life felt so much lighter. I feel at peace. It took saying goodbye, standing my ground, and a shit ton of therapy.

You know your worth, you’re asking the questions, you have the desire, now you just have to take action. One step at a time. Sending strength and love.💪❤️

Bath times-how many times a week

So I need to ask how many times do I need to bathe my baby, I usually do it three times a week, I did her last night and will have a bath on Tuesday night, it's mainly a shower with mum as I can't access the bath at the moment but I am 100% safe with her in there but I found if I did it with her she sleeps better, she's five months old.
I usually strip her off, get into the shower and use an old mam bottle to pour water over her, wash her hair and body, gently and carefully, I use a muzzy to help hold her, then I dry her and put on lotion that for nights, like Nalas oil, which is amazing and smells divine. But should I be doing it more or not

My 1 year old freaking me out

On days when it's just us at home and I'm bathing him, I leave the bathroom door open and this lil boy looks right over my shoulder as if he's glancing at someone but no one but us be at home!!!! He's been doing it for months and I've convinced myself he's just looking around but he's look looks like someone/something catches his eye and I just pray in my head to be casting out any spirit that shouldn't be in this house. Pray for us - sincerely 🙏

Milestones

Where is your little one with their milestones/ development?

My son is 6 months in 11 days and still hasn’t rolled over from back to tummy, he’s done tummy to back at most a couple of times but no matter what I do to help and encourage him to roll there is nothing he doesn’t seem bothered.

Don’t want to be one for comparing kids but when my daughter was at his age she was crawling, fully aware all kids develop differently and do things in their own time but being nearly 6 months and not bothered about rolling is this something to be concerned about??

First period

Hello! So I’m first time mum, 6 weeks 4 days pp and also exclusively breast feed. Is it normal that I haven’t had my first period yet? I know because I breast feed that it can be delayed but just wondering how long others waited before it arrived. Feel anxious about the first one 🙈
Thanks :)

Buying toys at the store

My son expects us to buy him a toy every time we go to the store. Has anyone successfully broken this habit before? I told my husband that it would be a bad idea to start because it could become a problem as he gets older, and sure enough, here we are.

I’ve tried explaining that I’ll pick out a few toys and let him choose one, but that still ends in a meltdown. I’ve also tried going cold turkey, but he had such a huge meltdown that the lady in front of me even offered to let me go ahead of her at checkout.

Has anyone been able to break this habit? I’m open to suggestions on what worked for you. He’s 3½ years old.

Views on pre made food like Ella's kitchen pouches?

I've heard they are loaded with sugar and to steer clear - curious what others think?
