I’m struggling with energy wise to spend time with my little one thats a 2 year old daughter. She is so hyperactive and won’t sit still. Shes just a really active child and I have no idea how to calm her down other than give her my phone to watch YouTube sometimes.
My schedule with her is singing songs, going downstairs to play with her scooter, playing hide and seek, bringing her to parks and church, dancing and playing with bubbles.
She does not sit still and so I just want some ideas on how to wind her down. She doesn’t like reading books

Does she go swimming? It's an energy burner for some babies. Also she's old enough to start some sports like football. At that age some clubs just lump boys and girls together

I understand I let mine go feral sometimes from being so exhausted . I think you’re doing a really great job job though. Keep trying ❤️

My almost 2 year old loves block puzzles…. The Melissa and Doug ones. Just an idea!
One thing that makes me super proud as a parent is having a full fridge and pantry.
Like I said.. I am not talking down on anyone.. As a child I grew up with barely any food in the house and I never wanted my children to have that.

Please share your tips and tricks - I have a 4 month old, a 3.5 year old, 2 dogs, I’m on maternity leave and I’m drowning! I cannot imagine what I will be like if I go back to work! Fortunately the baby is pretty chilled if she wasn’t I’m not sure how I would survive. This time round we are prioritising my sleep so I go to sleep when toddler does and partner keeps baby so I can get a stretch. This means I don’t have evenings and have even less hours in the day. I can barely keep on top of the basics like dishes, washing tidying up so I never get onto the bigger jobs. I’ve started to get a cleaner every now and then. I do my main food shop online for delivery. I only make quick teas now. We have booked a holiday and I’ve barely got time to order organise and pack the cases! (Hoping we’ve done the right thing booking a holiday) we spend weekends trying to sort the house but also trying to spend time together as a family it’s just a shit show. Toddler is feeling it with baby so also try to give her a lot of our attention. Can anyone share their routine? I don’t know if we just have too much stuff and need a huge clear out but again getting the time to do it is so hard and don’t get me started on the state of my car

I feel so alone and it’s very overwhelming. I just planned special dates and a surprise party this whole week for my boyfriend’s birthday; which was on Halloween because he hadn’t been feeling like himself lately. He told me “thank you this is the most effort, anybody has ever put into me.” I don’t feel appreciated though. Maybe my hormones are just getting the best of me rn, I’m currently pregnant with my 2nd.

My LO is sue to start nursery next year and I’m having a hard time thinking about letting her go. She’s with me a lot of the time and I’m struggling to imagine leaving her in the care of school even if it’s just a couple of hours. It’ll be weird not to have my sidekick with me. Also wondering how she’ll cope, will she think I’ve just dumped her and gone. Mum guilt is very real right now! Can anyone offer advice or share experiences?

Any one else’s baby giving a hard time during feedings? My 2 month old won’t do his full feedings that he normally does and it’s been driving me crazy. I feel like he’s not eating enough even though he does look satisfied.
