Is anyone else measuring a week less?
From my last monthly i should be 11+5 had a scan and they said I'm only 10+5?
So they can't give me a due date?
Never had this last pregnancy so curious what date do I go by? X

I had this on my 12 week scan and they put me back 1-2 week, weren't quite clear. They booked me in for another '12 week scan' so I will hopefully get a confirmed due date then as I am unsure. X

It happened to me the same, wait for the NHS 12 weeks scan as they are more accurate
I tought I was 12 weeks when had the scan, turns out I was 13+2 weeks 🤗

they did that to me, i was 12+5, but the scan showed 11+2, then i went back a week later exactly and they put me back to the correct expected date i thought i was so not too sure what happened :/ maybe just positioning x

So it’s perfectly normal that the scan can be up to a week or so away from your LMP, some people even longer if they have irregular periods or irregular ovulations! They’re not allowed to formally date the pregnancy until a minimum of 11 weeks or if there’s more than a weeks discrepancy so that’ll be why they need to bring you back in! They’ll always do a second scan for people that are far off from their last period, basically it’s to check the growth of the baby is happening correctly so they’ll take the date you were at that scan and compare it to the date at your next scan. So if your next scan is 10 days away for talking sake, they would want to see 10 days of growth, it’s all to just make sure everything is confirmed as normal. Sometimes it can be poor position of the baby that gets measurements wrong it’s just a safety check really. You’ll get your proper due date at your next scan so I would go with whatever they give you next! :) x

How do you handle the pressure to constantly do activities?

I see so many mums keeping a packed daily schedule, and it makes me feel guilty that I don't do the same for my 9 weeks old daughter. Do you feel like your baby needs constant out-of-the-home stimulation, or is a slower, quieter routine at home just as good?

Early labour?

Hey girls. I’m 34 weeks pregnant and having a couple of symptoms.
Please tell me if you think this could be early labour?

- diarrhoea. (5/6 times a day)
- period like pains at the bottom of my belly.
- feeling sick. Gone off food slightly.
- lost my mucus plug 3 days ago

I’m honestly not sure 😂😩

Last min C-section

Hey mamas! I was getting induced at 39 weeks since baby is big. The induction itself last over 30 hours and the doctor then suggested it turn into a c-section delivery. It was the most mortifying experience ever, being deliriously drugged up and in pain for such a long period of time, then being told the initial operation was unsuccessful.

Now I’m about 6 days post-partum and healing at home. Any mamas have advice on whether scar cream is necessary? Is it that effective? Which one did you use?

Any advice to speed up recovery?

Thanks!
