How are you managing all your pregnancy appointments with a toddler?

I'm a SAHM with no village so she has to come everywhere with me. They don't allow children in the ultrasounds and the hospital appointment to register is 1.5 hours! This is insane. How am I supposed to navigate this? I've put it off until 12 weeks but now need to get things moving.

Tell them you don’t have a choice with your toddler. It’s ridiculous that they wouldn’t let you. I bring both my toddlers. Every time I go my husband comes sometimes and then during longer appointments he might keep them at home and just take the day off but majority of the time I bring them with me. Maybe just go and bring them and see what happens. I’ve gone before where they don’t want kids but I think it’s more like older kids./ they can’t really tell you not to. Just make sure your child isn’t crazy or like super disruptive. Bring toys and snacks to help them

We also don’t have a village, but my guy works overnights so no matter what time the appointment is in the AM him and our toddler both come and he keeps her occupied there’s days where he just gets a nap before work which can be 10-14hr shifts. Which is also HIS CHOICE because he usually wants to take her to the park after being cooped up in the Drs office.

I brought my wee boy with me as in the same boat, they never say anything. Only the 19week one they asked for my partner to stay outside with him till she did a scan and measurements and monitor the baby closely with no distractions and then brought them both in and did another scan so my partner could see baby too

I didn't bring her to the 12 and 20 week scans and just went in without my partner, but also had a lot of other scans at hospital and I just brought her in with me because I didn't really have another choice and they were all lovely with her to be fair, no one said anything at all! Xxx

Mourning my birth

Wanted to have a vaginal birth so bad as it was my first but agreed to an induction that ended up in a c-section and now I regret getting induced, feeling like I should have waited for my labor to come in naturally. The pain from the c-section was wayy too much after the drugs wore off and I don’t want to go through that again but I want one more kid. Any tips on how other moms got over their c-section births or regret for how their births went in general?

Sacroiliitis

I’m 9 w 4 d. I’ve had what felt like muscle pain for the last week or so in this area, it is now a lot worse and upon research, this seems to be the most relatable potential problem. I’m calling GP first thing. But has anyone ever experienced this? I’m 27 and never had joint pain in my life but this is becoming extremely painful. Pregnancy commonly causes this according to Google.

Advice

Anyone any advice, I’m around 6/7 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’ve been quite poorly, yesterday I couldn’t stand for long and was vomiting a lot, ended up with slight bleeding and today I’m feeling slightly better and only spotting. I am booked in for a scan tomorrow with early pregnancy. Just worried something may be wrong

Aching

Hey mamas I had an emergency c-section on Tuesday morning. The burning sensation in my left side seems to not be going away. Standing up and laying down is getting easier but I have the fear I might be pushing it and I really wanna be allowed to go home on Friday. What do you guys suggest? My husband still has to occasionally go to work so he’s not with me and baby the whole time while at the hospital.

Sudden incontinence? Tmi

I gave birth 5 months ago and everything was working normal, this past week it’s like i am constantly ovulating or something. I feel wet, it’s not a lot, and it’s not dripping but it’s been consistent this past week.

Has this happened to anyone else and does it stop?

Many tia

Obstetric clinic

I have just received an appointment letter saying I have an appointment in the Obstetric clinic, not until 18th December, dayvafter my 20 week scan. I have 2 other children and not had any medical concerns/ complications. No one has called me to tell me anything about it.
Has anyone had one of these appointments? I am going to call someone in the morning but just gets me thinking everything!
