Mourning my birth

Wanted to have a vaginal birth so bad as it was my first but agreed to an induction that ended up in a c-section and now I regret getting induced, feeling like I should have waited for my labor to come in naturally. The pain from the c-section was wayy too much after the drugs wore off and I don’t want to go through that again but I want one more kid. Any tips on how other moms got over their c-section births or regret for how their births went in general?

Same with me :( I labored for 25 hours pushed for 3 hours and still ended up with a c section very sad and disappointing but I look at my baby and completely forget sometimes! I think with time maybe it will ease up but it’s definitely something I will be grieving!!

I almost went though the same thing
My gynecologist performed a membrane sweep
5 days before my 40 weeks
And for 2 days I lost my patience and tried everything to start labor
I’m talking about the tea the walks the exercise the sec and dates
I got into early labor
And by 24h on the 3rd day I was already in active labor
Headed to the hospital and was 3.8 cm dilated
With so much pain
I asked for the epidural
And I did not even got to a good dilation until almost 13h later
My epidural had worn off
And they had to do only a small amount more
And decided to induce me because I was not dilating
I was so tired so numb so exhausted, hungry, and sad I was losing my strength

They came in saying the night start a emergency c section because the baby seem stress

I called my mother
And she said
Look at the contraction board even if you don’t feel your contraction because of the epidural push small amounts
So she can come down
I started doing that and while they were getting ready

I understand, I also had some regrets about agreeing to a c-section. I feel the exact same as you, want one more, don’t want another c-section. But how I look at it is that it happened how it was supposed to. Don’t be too hard on yourself, who knows what would’ve happened otherwise. You’ll be all healed in due time mama.

Somehow right after 30 mins
I felt her head literally right there
I told them
I feel like the baby is finally low low
They did one last dilation check
And I was fully dilated with the baby
head and hairs almost coming out 😨

I’m so glad I was able to have vaginal birth
But I definitely regret trying to starting early labor my self
I should have waiting 40+ weeks until she was ready to come out 😭
I’m so glad she’s healthy and I did not went though the c section
I pray so much for your recovery
But our story’s sound almost similar

I pray for you in this journey and definitely do as your doctor say
Rest a lot
And keep yourself safe
The worse (best) already happened now
Focus on healing

I have no real recommendations since I haven’t went through it
But my prays are with you
Just wanted to share also my birth regret

I had a c section due to baby b being breech. As I was being rolled out of the hospital the staff told me “once a c section always a c section”. I did a lot of research, switched providers, and successfully VBAC’ed 11 1/2 months after my c section. Each birth is different but I’ve heard a lot of times inductions have a higher c section rate.

This entire post Is exactly how i feel and what happened to me October 2nd when i had my boy. He's now a month old and I'm not over the pain or having a natural labor robbed from me. An emergency C-section when you had all intentions to do natural is crushing. The anticipation for baby to come and impatience gets to you so I understand why you got induced cause i chose to as well. At 41 weeks and a day. I'm not sure if the induction could be why ours resulted in a C-section but it's hard to just wait for labor when it's possible they'd have to induce you anyways if baby is too cozy inside. 😮‍💨 I know I'm not useful in tips to get past it and not fear having another. But I'm in the same boat as you. If you need someone to chat with that went through the same situation I'm here to chat and maybe we can both find some relief in getting it off our chests.

Urgent advise needed please

I had a connecting flight that I missed at Istanbul sabiha gokcen airport. I got off my domestic flight and had walked and run to the international departures gate, and yet it was closed when I got there. It took soo long because the security lines and passport control lines were so so long! And then my gate was 2 floors down at the very far end. I also had baggage and a stroller, so I had to find the lifts and there would be queues of wheelchair users. After every attempt to get to the gate literally out of breath, it was closed. Maybe missed it by 5 minutes. I found the airline agent desk and they said I need to pay for new tickets which me and several others refused. He then said we would get a refund. I arrived in the UK and made a complaint and asked for my money to be reimbursed as the agent had said. However, customer service are refusing to refund me.
What can I do? Has anyone else been to this airport? How was your experience there? Has anyone else missed a connecting flight? What did you do? I just dont know what to do anymore. The cost of the flights was almost equal to my entire holiday!

First pregnancy & it’s twins!

Hello I just found out today that I’m pregnant with twins! I’m so shocked and overwhelmed. I had an ultrasound around 3 weeks ago that showed only 1 yolk sac baby.
For my peace of mind I went to an ultrasound clinic today and not only did I see & hear babies heartbeat but now there’s 2 babies!!!!!!

I’m confused how my doctor missed the second baby, and I think I need to find a new doctor.

I need advice & tips, I’m very excited but also very scared.

This is my first ever pregnancy & I just so happened to get twins 🥺

I did have a dream a few weeks ago about having twins but I didn’t think my dream would come true 😭

Shared middle names?

I like the idea of my 2 kids sharing a middle name, but my husband can’t get on board!
My little girl has a unisex middle name so this would work for our little boy due next month
