Has anyone had a letter for their babies 9-12 month development check yet? I had my daughters super early years ago and her appt was when she turned 9 months, but still not had anything for my son yet (start of Jan baby) so was just curious🥰

Yep my son was born on the 8th Jan and he had his appointment last week😊

My daughter is 13th Jan we have her appointment next Wednesday

My daughter was 10 months yesterday, not heard anything

My boy is 9 months born 28th January and we just had ours today

Yeah I had mines a few weeks ago. Was 9 months on 31st October

My lg was born the 18th jan. We have our app next Tuesday. Only got it through today x

Wonder if it’s just different areas at different times then! Might leave it another week and then see… not sure who I’d contact would it be HV or GP I wonder xx

Was just sent a link to book last week, and the letter arrived in the post today. I booked the latest date they had at 11 months in order to test out all the questions so wouldn't worry too much if you haven't got it yet!

They've been cancelled on our area due to health visitor shortages so might be worth checking if you're still having one

I just received my letter this morning. My little man was born 26th jan so maybe your hospital/gp are just abit slow

How much sleep in a 24hr period for baby for 18 weeks?

Are everyone’s babies getting 12-16 hours of sleep in a 24hr period? I can’t get my daughter to sleep more than 10-11 hours in a 24hr period including her daytime naps.. I’m not sure what to do or how to get her to sleep more during daytime.

Double pushchair

Can anybody recommend a double pushchair please that’s not too expensive please I’ve had the silver cross wayfarer but it’s just so heavy now I need
Rid and the seats are small for my 3 year old.
I have a 2 year old and a 3 nearly 4 year old, I don’t know whether it’s worth just getting a single and a buggy board as my 3 year old will still use the pushchair if we’re out a while. Any suggestions would be great.

Rant..apologies

Why isn’t postpartum depression not talked about enough? Or even just how you will be postpartum. Theres not enough information and support given to you while going through pregnancy or even in general because support systems struggle to understand the concept too. I feel like I’m going insane with how I’m feeling atm. I genuinely have never felt so low. I feel trapped. And why is there no relationship support offered or atleast guide you to the correct people. I’ve tried reaching out to my health visitor but she doesn’t have anything for weeks and suggested I go to one of the support hubs. I don’t drive and my partner doesn’t like me going on the bus with the baby and he’s always working. My friends and family have said they’ll support me but haven’t exactly seen the consistency between their words and their actions coming together. I am starting to resent my partner and I’m worrying he’s making me depend on him too much to the point where I don’t know if I’m sane anymore. He goes to work, he gets to go golf and when we do stuff together 9 out of 10 times he invites one of his friends to join us. It’s like he doesn’t want to be with me alone. He’s constantly on his phone too. I understand he’s just started his own company but there’s no way he’s doing job stuff or talking about work the whole evening too. Apologies I need to rant as currently my only conversations are through messages with him or my 3 month old

Clothes question

Ladies recently my little boys clothes have been having random yellow stains on them noticable after a wash idk if im putting the wash on too long or if its the spit up from milk thats causing it as its only around his shoulders or neck where the spit up may have happened that day, no issues with the trousers just frustrating to why it might be happening, has this happened to anyone before?

Angry and upset with social services

Social services have been a part of my life for a while. For the last year we have just been getting the tick boxes ticked. They have zero concerns its "just the process" well they said that our next meeting (today) theyd likely close our case because everything is done. Nope, wrong! Theyve given new goal posts. I am so annoyed! Its taking precious time i have on my day off with my daughter because they keep adding new goal posts (which they've been officially told off for doing 5 times in the past).

I just want them out my life. Im sick and tired of sitting with them every 3 weeks going all finez nothing new, all is well. Shes thriving. Because thats litrally been my life for 12 months. But they keep changing our senior worker and they are the ones that keep adding new goal posts. I just want to scream! My daughter also hates our newest social worker. She hides from her saying mummy i no like, make her leave in a whisper.
