Guideance on cosleeping..

I’ve recently started cosleeping with my 17 month old but I can’t find any safe sleep guideance on cosleeping at this age? Does anyone know a reliable source to find this?
I follow a cosleeping page on insta but again it all seems to be focused around smaller babies

It’s all very similar really except for you don’t need to sleep in the cuddle curl as aggressively as with a very small baby.

We taught my son from crawling how to get on and off the bed safely if he wanted to get down.

We’ve been co-sleeping for 3 years so if you have any specific questions happy to help 😊

I was just thinking about this (but for my baby when she’s 1year old)!
I want to visit family in Japan and will likely co-sleep with her but I don’t get how I’m meant to do that when we go to bed at different times.. how do I not wake the baby? She’s 8mo atm

Floor bed to minimise fall risk. Your position can change you don't need to stay in the cuddle curl. And they can have a toddler pillow or blanket but yours should still be away from them. They can also lie on you/your arm/whatever position they get themselves in rather than being flat on the mattress.

We co sleep since he wakes up at 6 am (3m) I use my pregnancy pillow still to help me not move. We also traveled for a wedding and left him on the bed to hang out in the room since it was early and as soon as we went to bed he started to wake up so I just bf him to soothe him back to sleep

My 8 month old has no sleep routine nor eats 😅

Any mamas with babies aged 6 months + who have absolutely no sleep routine and just sleep whenever they want?😅 I’ve tried everything to establish a routine, but nothing seems to work, what works is following her lead and waiting till she gets tired, I’m curious to know if this is what other mamas do or if they have a strict wine down routine and how they implement this? Also, my little one barely eats and is still on purees but some days she won’t eat at all, some days 5 spoons because anything with a thicker texture makes her vomit as one time she had vomit through her nose and mouth😩 I’m also terrified of baby led weaning because of choking, so weaning has been stressful! She is constantly teething though so that could be a reason, at 8 months she has 6 teeth 😂 I keep seeing these babies eat full on 3 meals and snacks by 8 months and I feel like I’m failing 🥺 Any advice or tips for babies with strong stubborn personalities who like doing everything on their own terms? Xx

Five month old is still in 0-3

Hey has anyone else had this my five month old barely fits into any 3-6 clothes they all drown her but her 0-3 still fits perfect. She turns 6 months next week she’s hitting all her milestones but I’m wondering did anyone else go through the same? And did they go to 3-6 or just jump to 6-9 because I have seen some do that?

Baby carriers

What baby carriers are we all using? Any that people can recommend, my baby girl is 12 weeks and walks the dogs with me daily, I currently have the momcozy newborn carrier but I feel like she’s just not comfortable in there on longer walks. She is only just reaching 10lb so is still a little dot.

Where do all the dummys go?!

I have 2 under 2 and they both take a dummy now they're off th boob... Why is it that 1 morning I'll have 6 dummys and by bedtime they're all out of sight and vanished for ever and ever?! Like every night it's th same insane hunt for 2 dumdums! Wish me luck.... Tnight I only have 1 so th hunt continues and bedtimes and pause till we find a second!

Feeling overwhelmed and down.

Had my baby boy 3 weeks ago now and I feel like I'm heading towards postpartum depression territory :( I feel like I miss my old self, my old life and my old life with my partner. I've wanted a baby for so long and now I feel so overwhelmed by how constant it is all the time and it makes me feel like a failure 😢 how is everyone else coping at the moment?

Breastfeeding to sleep

How long as your baby needed to be breastfed to sleep or has your baby naturally self soothed without needing to be nursed to sleep. My baby is 4mo and only knows either breast or dummy to fall asleep and will not go down without either one . Had one night and day of trying to get him to sleep without either and it was a total disaster and I was crying as much as he was. I don’t think I’m strong enough to do CIO method and I don’t want to have do that. I feel physically sick thinking that the only way to get him to sleep without associating it with nursing is CIO. :(

Any experiences in this area ?
