Morning! I thought I’d ask as I saw someone mention KIT days.
I’m just wondering, do you get to specify what hours or how long you want to do your KIT days, or is it up to your manager? I’m a bit worried they’ll expect me to do a full day. 😅 Has anyone had any experience with this?

I think it tends to be up to the company/your manager 😊 I'm a FTM so no experience yet but spoke with my manager before I went on maternity and she was happy for me to do a kit day on a day we have our team meeting and just join that meeting -- these only last 2 hours.

If you don't do a full day they can choose not to pay you for a full day and only pay for the hrs worked. So Keep that in mind

It's a mutual agreement between you. They can't force you to do kit days and you can't demand to do them either. It's usually written in company policy what their payment method and working hours for Kit days are

It will be in your company policy, and agreed with your manager. Absolutely no obligation to do your kit days, I had a colleague who did none, but I've already done 4. I get paid for the amount of hours I've worked.

I did maximum (10 working days) all in a row when my mom came to visit and stayed with my little one. We agreed with my manager that I would do full days, there was no obligation to do any! I just needed the pay :) they didn't overload me with work either so it was actually nice (I could work from home most days!)

I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant. My baby’s been low since early pregnancy. I’ve been feeling more pressure on my bladder so i have to go pee very often. Does anyone feel like this? Especially when baby is moving?

I failed my glucose test and I don’t know what’s my next step is? My OB hasn’t called me yet. I feel so overwhelmed and I keep blaming myself I don’t know why..
Do you know what caused it? I never liked sweets or craved it. I only drink frapp and have soda occasionally.

Genuinely feel like death. Just shy of 18 weeks pregnant and the extreme exhaustion is physically killing me off. Everything feels like a marathon. Have pushed through gym workouts but they're now starting to falter, especially running. Housework is getting slower/piling up despite husband helping out. Childcare and work I'm managing. But I'm falling asleep at like 8pm and sleeping through to 7am 🙈 tried sleeping less and I feel worse than I do sleeping this length of time. Food aversions and nausea are still about, with the nausea admittedly better than it has been.
But with my first, I was past all this by now and firmly in the second trimester glow up, worrying over spotty skin rather than sleeping like a sloth.
Anyone been here and can relate or even better tell me it will go away soon? My only differences between my first and second pregnancy is a low PAPP-A score, slightly higher BMI as I didn't manage to get all baby weight off and obviously a toddler to care for.

I’m a “step” mom to a 12 yr old girl who i have been fully active and close w her since she was 4.5 yrs old. Bm is still in the picture and we have 50/50. So I have always felt like and just refereed to her as my daughter and not even stepdaughter and she has called me the same just mom and not stepmom. This was all natural from us by choice mutually between my “step” daughter and I. So now I’m 6 weeks pregnant w a sibling for her and she doesn’t know yet. We wanna wait till end of first trimester to tell her for obvious reasons…. Now the real issue is how I’m feeling abt it… my biggest fear even before getting pregnant is that when we would have more kids, that my first baby (“step” daughter) would feel like it’s different and like my other babies I love my JUST bc I birthed them and not her… she looks JUST like her dad and nothing like me at all. She is dirty blonde like her dad and I’m Latina and mixed…. Nothing wrong w that at all. but it just all adds into it. I’m worried abt how she may feel like replaced for my by her new sibling, and especially since ik her bio mom and others will put something like this in her head and feed here these lies that make her feel replaced (either intentionally or unintentionally). And my other fear is maybe it’s true tho?!…. Everyone has always told me “oh! It will be sooo different tho once you’re, you know, a REAL mom. And you have YOUR OWN kid.”… and that would pmo so much bc I do everything and I AM a real mom and she IS my own kid. Not blood but we are so close it feels like sometimes I forget I didn’t carry and birth her myself! And sometimes she forgets too tbh lol. My point is, I would do anything for my baby girl now. And I don’t want anyone making her feel, me feel, or trying to convince us otherwise. Have any other women been thru something like this?! Any advice is helpful pls… I’m having a really hard time when I should be happy and excited to have another child.
