Changing a baby with reflux

I'm not sure there's an solution for this but does anyone have any tips for changing a baby with reflux. I always change him before a feed but sometimes he'll need changing afterwards. If i lie him down too soon after a feed he'll spit up and then the hiccups will start and we'll have 30-40 minutes of trying to soothe him again. Its really frustrating.

Wait half an hour after a feed always. We elevate his head always with a pillow and do it as fast as possible 😆 sometimes it works and others he is sick/hiccups

Is this okay?

Babygirl is 5 months 12 days / 23 weeks, 4 days.
She goes to sleep between 6-7pm, wakes up between 6-7am. She has a 7oz bottle in the morning, then sleeps usually anytime between 8:30/9 for about 30-45 minutes. Then she will have another bottle at some point in the morning, 6oz, then a nap early afternoon 1-1:30pm ish. Then another 6oz. Then she naps sort of 4-5pm and then has a 7oz after her bath before bed. She sometimes has another 6oz in the afternoon if she asks for it. She sleeps through the night so her daytime naps are all over the place.

My baby is 10 days old and I’m broken already.

He’s really fussy and screams a lot. Please tell me it gets better? I’ve read some people say by 12 weeks. I don’t think I’ve got 12 weeks in me. I’m seeing the mental health team but I need some reassurance. Just because today has b b bad does it mean tomorrow will be?

What do you do??

Ive got mixed opinions so far, so I’m interested to know what you new mums do or would do.

When fuelling up your car / nipping into Tesco express just for a pint of milk, baby is sleeping in the carseat. Do you leave baby in the car for the literal 2 minutes your gone and just ensure car is locked, or get the whole pram / car seat system out and take baby with you?

Anyone else have a mental breakdown this morning cause of the US election?

I don’t think I realized how much fear I have been holding on to since my son was born cause of the political situation in our country. I haven’t been able to stop crying all morning. Nothing has changed really but also everything has changed. I feel a glimmer of hope that my baby will grow up in a more tolerant, safe, protected country. It won’t be perfect but it won’t be so dark and hard. I feel insane for the amount of emotion pouring out.
