At my 20-week scan, I was told I had full placenta previa and that a C-section was likely the way forward. Even though I knew there was a chance it could move, I basically spent the last 12 weeks getting my head around a planned C-section. I’d fully visualised it, prepped for it, and had it in my mind that I’d be meeting baby at 36–37 weeks. That date and certainty became my safe space.
Well, I had my 32-week scan and the placenta has completely moved out of the way. I know medically this is "good news", but honestly, having the rug pulled out from under my plan has really shaken me. I’ve got my consultant appointment next week but I expect they’ll be pushing me towards a vaginal birth.
My bump measurements have been tracking baby on the 90th–95th percentile. I know fundal height isn't always accurate, but the thought of going from a calm, scheduled birth at 37 weeks to potentially waiting until 41 weeks to push out a potentially big baby has sent my anxiety through the roof.
Obviously, getting baby here safely is all that matters to me. But the sudden loss of control and having to mentally do a complete 180 is just overwhelming.
Wondered if anyone had experienced similar.

You can still have an elected C-section if you want to. It's totally up to you and they are no longer allowed to try push you in another direction. Is there a reason why you would have it so early at 37 weeks though? Usually they like to do them the 39th week

If the section is booked, and baby is still measuring on those percentiles, I don’t see why they couldn’t proceed with the planned section tbh.. the decision will be yours ultimately, but if you’ve done the prep and feel calm about it, I’d stick with it if you can 🤗

Why don’t you still have the section? Just a bit later on- later is better for their lung function. They normally do them at 39 weeks and can also bring them forward if you go into labour naturally too.
I’m 8 weeks postpartum and idk if it’s the hormones but I’m somewhere in between never again and I want more but hate the newborn stage so LETS DO IT NOW !! Kinda leaning towards more now lol . Someone tell me to get real !!!
P.S.- I’d absolutely wait at least 6 months before trying .

I had my 3rd baby in July of this year. I had been with my job for 3 years, and had requested and been approved FMLA to take 12 weeks.. it was finally time for me to go back to work & I was unexpectedly let go.. so now I am jobless, with 3 babies, Christmas is coming up, I was already dealing with postpartum & now I swear I feel like I’m drowning 😓

Talk to me. What was your 3rd pregnancy experience like in comparison to the first and second? What about the transition from 2-3 vs. 1-2??

Hi mamas! I’m currently starting my 19th week of my first pregnancy. My goal is to have a vaginal birth, and I’m looking to start preparing my body.
Honestly, there is so much conflicting information out there nowadays about pre-birth workouts.. getting super confused about who to trust and what to follow!
For those who’ve been through this, what exercises actually helped prepare you for labor? And what should I definitely avoid? Would love your real-talk recommendations! 🤍
