Hi all, i’m 21.5 weeks and i’m interested to know from the anterior placenta mums how often they’re feeling their baby move, and if they’ve noticed a pattern yet?
I had a week last week where i thought i had a vague idea of a pattern (i only really started feeling him in the last 2 week) and my baby was active in the morning and evening, then the last few days i have felt movement if i really concentrate but not as noticeable as before. At this early stage do you go to check it out because of ‘reduced movement’ or is this too early for this as no routine has been established?
Thanks

Im the same. 22 weeks on Sunday. My baby moves in the morning around 9am when I am sat down and in the evening when I’m in bed.

Guidelines in my area are that only after 24 weeks should a baby develop a movement pattern and they will call you in to monitor if you notice reduced movement.
Always call midwifery team for advice though if you are worried.

21 weeks here and I’ve just started to feel some flutters and odd kicks (or something that feels more than a flutter). I can usually feel her in the evenings when I’m lying down but I’m probably too busy in the day to notice her movements. I too have anterior placenta so I know for us we may not feel it as strongly right now - give it more time before you worry.

Think the guidelines are after 24 weeks they should have an established pattern. They're still tiny I think they grow a lot between now and 24weeks so they'll be undeniable by then! I had an anterior placenta in my first pregnancy and again now in my second. I feel I feel my baby when I'm having down time and can tune in to my body but during the day I may feel the odd one but nothing regularly x
Wanted to have a vaginal birth so bad as it was my first but agreed to an induction that ended up in a c-section and now I regret getting induced, feeling like I should have waited for my labor to come in naturally. The pain from the c-section was wayy too much after the drugs wore off and I don’t want to go through that again but I want one more kid. Any tips on how other moms got over their c-section births or regret for how their births went in general?

I’m 9 w 4 d. I’ve had what felt like muscle pain for the last week or so in this area, it is now a lot worse and upon research, this seems to be the most relatable potential problem. I’m calling GP first thing. But has anyone ever experienced this? I’m 27 and never had joint pain in my life but this is becoming extremely painful. Pregnancy commonly causes this according to Google.

Hey mamas I had an emergency c-section on Tuesday morning. The burning sensation in my left side seems to not be going away. Standing up and laying down is getting easier but I have the fear I might be pushing it and I really wanna be allowed to go home on Friday. What do you guys suggest? My husband still has to occasionally go to work so he’s not with me and baby the whole time while at the hospital.

I gave birth 5 months ago and everything was working normal, this past week it’s like i am constantly ovulating or something. I feel wet, it’s not a lot, and it’s not dripping but it’s been consistent this past week.
Has this happened to anyone else and does it stop?
Many tia

Would love some second opinions on my 12.5 wk scan! I’m 23.5 wks now and can’t wait for my scan on Monday to find out for real! Will update with results for anyone curious :)
