Anxious ahead of labour

First time pregnant. Is anyone getting really anxious ahead of the due date? I am Week 39+2 and the not knowing exactly when it will all start and fearing the pain and unknown of the labour experience is seriously creeping me out ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Any advice? โค๏ธ

Yup as much as I want her out I'm a bit worried about the pain I've been told not to go to the hospital till my contractions are at least 2-3 mins apart and have been constant for an hour

Hey! Labour is really different from person to person but learning about what my body is actually doing at each stage really helped me understand the process and the feelings of the contractions I was having. They can be very intense but the plus side is they only last a minute or so with a peak of around 20 seconds so if you focus on one contraction at a time, you wonโ€™t feel so overwhelmed in the moment.

This is totally normal, I was the same with my first and looking forward to it now with my third. Although the not knowing when is a huge pain with childcare, especially itโ€™s my sons birthday the day before my due date ๐Ÿ˜ฉ
I found a lot of the pain was worse from anxiety and stress and the more relaxed I was the less pain there was so try and just keep as calm as you can, youโ€™ll be amazed by what your body can do and youโ€™ll feel an intense euphoria between each contraction that helps a lot too.
I had a water birth with dimmed lights for my second and it was so peaceful and helped so much with pain.
Good luck, youโ€™ve got this!

Hard belly

Hey can anyone tell me if itโ€™s normal to have such a hard belly???

Iโ€™m almost 36 weeks and have a very tight belly a lot of the time. Iโ€™m getting quite constipated so think it could be this and Iโ€™ve now got the bulge where his butt is but everything feels quite tight and feel concerned as Iโ€™m the first to be pregnant in family and friend groups and I donโ€™t really know what to expect at this timeโ€ฆ

Any help is appreciated ๐Ÿฉต
