Congestion

Anyone else’s baby really congested? Mine has been sounding so congested and snuffly for over a week now. He was born via emergency C-section, could this be the cause? Or something else?

Ive thought this in occasion with my baby but apparently it’s quite normal for newborns to sound it while their body works out live outside the womb.

If you’re concerned do get in touch with your GP to be safe

Really normal and common for c section babies especially to be congested as they're not squeezed in the same way as vaginally born babies

Yes apparently my baby sounds same way…. What I did was purchased a diffuser for the air in the room to help her breathe properly, and I also use sterimar saline spray for her nose it brings out the snot then I suck it out with the nasal aspirator or I use cotton bud to just bring it out(if the snot visible) and her breathing is way better now. Still sound snotty but it’s better

Discovered sticky toffee pudding at 33yo!!

Guuuuys!! I tried sticky toffee pudding for the first time a week ago & I've had about 5 supermarket bought pots since!!

Growing up, I wasn't much of a dessert person (I was a starter & mains kinda gal when eating out) but over the last year or so, I've been taking a liking to them & I thought I'd give sticky toffee pudding a try & OMG! Why did no one tell me this was like heaven in your mouth?! 😲 😂

I've tried Tesco & Aldi's brands so far. If you think there's better (if that's even possible lol), please share! 😍🤤🤤

EDIT: the best part? My 3yo hasn't tried it as she thinks it looks yucky so I have it all to myself! 🤣

40 weeks and a failed membrane sweep

I feel like before my sweep I was having so many contractions and everything felt like it was progressing and now after the last three days have been very quiet other then back pain on and off for a few hours and the now rare contraction, I'm a super active person and not even me moving around a shit tone is causing them and I'm worried I'll have to be induced because lil girl is hella comfy in there.

Period like cramps at 34 weeks

Hiya
Has anyone else had period like cramping?
My stomach doesn’t get hard like I would expect for a braxton hick but I feel period type cramping every night and odd times during the day. No spotting or back pain during it.

Mucus plug

How long after losing mucus plug did you go into labour ?
I believe I’m losing mine slowly it was clear he’ll like substance but I’m going to monitor 35+1

Ball hit my stomach (resus neg blood & anti D)

Hi.
I’m on a day out with family and was stood watching my little one play basketball arcade and the ball hit the bar and bounced back hit me straight in the stomach and it did hurt a bit as the balls hard.
I’ve had the anti D injection twice now one routine and the other due to a swing bumped me in the stomach.
Should I be concerned or should I be ok now I’ve had my anti D
