1. A going home outfit and blanket because we need access to baby and they don’t really want to have to take clothes off

2.Comfortable clothes, adult diapers if you don’t want what they provide, phone charger, pillow and blanket, slip on shoes, snacks

😅 due in 20 days still haven’t packed a bag

Snacks, comfortable clothes, hygiene products

I just packed my toiletry bag, two pairs of pjs, robe, slippers, nursing bra and Frida boxers. Don’t forget your charger and a blanket! Also I recommend taking a bag of snacks with you!
For the baby I took 2 sleepers, a going home outfit and a baby blanket for ride home

1. For baby:
- clothes/blanket for out of hospital - they give you blankets and shirts so don't go crazy here just 1 outfit/sleeper
2. For self:
- comfortable bra- preferably nursing so it is easy access
- comfortable clothes/PJs
- unless you dont like the stuff given at hospital you can bring diapers/pads but id just have some at home
-snacks for when you miss the hospital food window and are starving after delivery
- water bottle
- phone, charger, earbuds

We also grabbed a soft blanket but that was mainly for my husband to sleep with

I highly over pecked 🤦‍♀️ I’d take bathroom essentials, two pairs of clothes, and an outfit for baby. Also, snacks and water.

For myself:
A robe to wear postpartum
Comfy lightweight pj pants
Comfortable cross over nursing bras
Comfy socks

For newborn:
Newborn gown
Nursing pillow
Car seat

First time around I took for baby
Swaddle
Diapers
Going home outfit
Second time I just brought the going home outfit.

For me:
Socks with grippies
Pj's that buttoned up front
Gatorade
Always depends
Headphones
Extra long charger cable
Snacks because I knew the kitchen staff couldn't accommodate all my dietary restrictions
Second time I also brought my laptop to register everything before going home

Is the baby usually dressed under the swaddle? I know people have said they prefer to keep it easy for nurses since they have to constantly check on the baby.

Also, is it better to have your newborn fully covered in like a long sleeve onesie for discharge? Or does it not really matter?

I brought some outfits for my baby cause you never know if they'll fit in newborn or need bigger, plus if they'll spit up. And I like to put my own clothes on the baby and myself ASAP. Brought a few snacks and then my hubby's friend brought me some bread and Brie!!

I brought a couple different outfits from my baby preemie and newborn, and then I only bought one labor and delivery gown, but I wish I would have bought two or three because you want to feel clean and they get dirty and especially if your breast breast-feeding you'll leak I was in the hospital for three days that's why I said I wish I would've bought two or three, I also packed shower stuff for me and my boyfriend as well as like lotion and skin care. I also packed my boyfriend a hospital bag with his clothes. I also brought three blankets and then I packed three empty bags to put stuff into from the hospital when I go home.

If you’re a simple girl.. Less is better. For baby hospital gives shirts, pacifier & blankets. Constantly checking & swaddling them. Take going home outfit. For you. They give everything. Underwear, pads, sprays… (buy some for home) I would take shampoo/conditioner/DO, a peri bottle, moomoo/gown & going home outfit. Obviously small things charger, etc… it’s only 2 days you’ll be there. U don’t need to much. If I forgot anything my partner went home to get it when he checked on our son. I didn’t need much but some women need the extra stuff not a problem either.. to each their own

I packed a heat blanket and I was so thankful when I got the epidural and I had the shakes! Clothes for you and baby, shampoo or whatever you shower with, slip on shoes, snacks, AirPods, phone charger.

40 weeks and a failed membrane sweep

I feel like before my sweep I was having so many contractions and everything felt like it was progressing and now after the last three days have been very quiet other then back pain on and off for a few hours and the now rare contraction, I'm a super active person and not even me moving around a shit tone is causing them and I'm worried I'll have to be induced because lil girl is hella comfy in there.

Period like cramps at 34 weeks

Hiya
Has anyone else had period like cramping?
My stomach doesn’t get hard like I would expect for a braxton hick but I feel period type cramping every night and odd times during the day. No spotting or back pain during it.

Discovered sticky toffee pudding at 33yo!!

Guuuuys!! I tried sticky toffee pudding for the first time a week ago & I've had about 5 supermarket bought pots since!!

Growing up, I wasn't much of a dessert person (I was a starter & mains kinda gal when eating out) but over the last year or so, I've been taking a liking to them & I thought I'd give sticky toffee pudding a try & OMG! Why did no one tell me this was like heaven in your mouth?! 😲 😂

I've tried Tesco & Aldi's brands so far. If you think there's better (if that's even possible lol), please share! 😍🤤🤤

EDIT: the best part? My 3yo hasn't tried it as she thinks it looks yucky so I have it all to myself! 🤣
